If the prisons in Mexico are lacking in security, a prison sentence in Mexico may be a death sentence for the El Paso shooter, given that there might be people who may want to take their rage out on him, vigilante style.
I 100% am not understanding why liberals are trying to give a big **** you to El Paso. Is it just general Texas hate? I don’t even want the feds to take him.

The crimes occurred in the US.

The shooting did not occur in Mexico.
The only reason to be anti-libertarian is there are people you want to control that you wouldn't be able to.

It really sounds like your motivation here is not so much his crime, but what he wrote. So, you're basically arguing for punishing speech/press, and by a government which has no jurisdiction.

The bastard should burn. But not in the particular ways you're pushing for, if the rule of law matters to you.

Wrong. One can still receive a life sentence in Mexico, but they become eligible for parole after serving 50 years.
