Guaido Seeks to Cooperate with US Forces In Order to Take Power

Slowest damn Coup EVER....

What is the US Military Industrial Complex coming to?

Fledermaus:

The Chilean Coup of 1973 took about three years to accomplish and there were several setbacks along the way for the US Government. The US started preparing the coup attempt in late 1969 but did not see the results they wanted until September 11th, 1973. Regime change can be a slow business.

Ironically this diversion of funds from the Northern Triangle of Central America to the Venezuelan opposition will make the US illegal immigration problem worse while simultaneously making it far more difficult for some of the 4 million Venezuelan refugees in part displaced by US policy towards Venezuela to find shelter in America. So a big win-win for a xenophobic and racist demagogue like President Trump who wants the oil but not the people who live on top of it. Yup, if you're Central or South American, the futures so bright, you gotta wear shades. (Timbuk3).

Cheers.

Worst coup EVER.....

It's almost as if there is no US actions against the proto-dictator...

You have switched from " intervention " to " coup " in a bid to save your blushes ( the reputation has long since gone imo ) about your comment not to have seen any US intervention in Venezuelan affairs

You're such a completely dishonest poster and it's tedious being stalked by you tbh

Oneworld2:

Here is an LA Times article from July 16, 2019 verifying your claim that USAID has taken monies earmarked for Central America in order to fund the Venezuelan opposition which is floundering right now. So the case is a solid one.

Trump administration diverts Central America aid to U.S.-backed opposition in Venezuela - Los Angeles Times

Anyone that has spent any reasonable amount of time studying the subject of US Latin/Central American politics would know the case was solid anyhow Roddy , though I do thank you for taking the time to post a link regarding my comment.

The reason I didn't post one is because the poster I was responding to would just simply ignore it and repeat what they were saying regardless. Put ten links up , twenty , and it will be met with the same willful dismissal.

They are the narrowminded patriotic types who can't handle the truth about their own country's violations of the rights of others so they choose to ignore such inconvenient truths by necessity. Remember , what was never reasoned in will probably never be reasoned out but I admire your patience

The coup....

Waiting.

I was talking of the US intervention into the affairs of another state/people and have already highlighted your sleight of hand in trying to misrepresent that. I'm waiting for you to acknowledge it.... the willingness to deceive the reader....... waiting

They don't make coups like they used to.
