Sorry but you are the one making up your own reality here and it has been getting outed over numerous posts now but because of your bullheadedness you can't admit to it . obviously

You continue to lie that they are getting water from sewage pipes when NOBODY has said that , not in the article you cited or those that I have used to show the propaganda framing of the title

Seeing as you decided to jump in here Jack a question

The water shortages are due to the power cuts , the power cuts are due to alleged attacks on power facilities. The power cuts are detrimental to Maduro and have been considered a useful way to incite anti government sentiments by the opposition that are well documented and precede the current situation.

So why do you want to start the story at the end instead of at the beginning ?

There have been power failures regularly in Venezuela since long before the current crisis. They are the result of underinvestment, mismanagement and inadequate maintenance. If the power failures are damaging to the regime then the damage is self-inflicted.

The NYT article I cited regarding the alleged burning of a US " aid (lol) " convoy came 3 weeks AFTER independent media outlets had already debunked it

Another one Reuters reported that Venezuelans were drinking raw sewage when in fact they were utilizing fresh water from a stream than runs through a town

I could give you tons of examples of how this type of thing plays out , how Phil Donahue got sacked from his show for opposition to the Iraq war. How Gary Webb ended up paying the ultimate price for his exposure of US government agencies shipping coke from south America and using the money to fund the Contras

But you will ignore them all and or apologize it all away as best you can because you NEED to believe in the institutions of your country being free and fair even if it's not the case

The press in my country is the same , corporate owned and pretty subservient to the interests of the ruling elites.

This is not the place to discuss media collusion with power but I stand by what I stated regardless
