Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro: Where could he escape?

How exactly is the US starving the people of Venezuela? Venezuela is starving because of bad leadership under Chavez and Maduro, they bet everything on oil and when oil came crashing down so did their unsustainable policies. How are we stealing their money when it is worth less than the ink and paper it is printed with?

They're starving because of socialism.

If the government was ideologically pro-free market the oil price decline would at most be a light recession.

Simple uncensored USA history. 20 million dead, killed by USA, since WWII. Iraq, Libya, Syria, Ukraine, Haiti, Honduras, Guatamala, Panama, Granada, Nicaragua, Chile, and more using the same Modus Operandi. You're supporting the same thing in Venezuela.
\/

All those conflicts together do not equal 20 million dead. that is absurd.

No, they are starving because of a corrupt, incompetent goon...has nothing to do with socialism.

You missed "and more" and the total may be 30 million.
Add Vietnam, Korea, El Salvador, Afghanistan, Nicaragua, Albania, Laos, Cambodia, Ghana, Iran, Yugoslavia, Zaire, "and more."

"Major Joe Blair was the director of instruction at the U.S. School of the Americas (SOA) from 1986 to 1989. He described the training he oversaw at SOA as the following: "The doctrine that was taught was that if you want information you use physical abuse, false imprisonment, threats to family members, and killing. If you can't get the information you want, if you can't get that person to shut up or stop what they're doing, you assassinate them—and you assassinate them with one of your death squads.""

You do love lies....

And because of the actions of corrupt goons inside the Beltway who have been applying sanctions against Venezuela and its people for many years.

Venezuela under Chavez/Maduro has not been friendly with America for the past 17 years even though the US buys 42% of Venezuelan oil.

Part of the reason for that is the US beginning with Bush not selling parts for their F-16s which they bought from us, and other sanctions applied under Obama and Trump.

Despite the fact that Venezuela donated heating oil to needy americans for a number of years, you perceive 'them' as being unfriendly to US. The Federal Kool Aid must be delicious, eh?

Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro: Where could he escape?

I'm guessing any "sanctuary city" in will the US accept him.

Sure it does. Do you think the Venezuelan people just have really bad luck when it comes to elected officials and bueracrats ?

Every industry Chavez Nationalized was run into the ground and that including oil and gas.

Chavez built Venezuela's economy around a historically volatile commodity while neglecting other sectors including manufacturing which led to Venezuela becoming dependent on imports for basic goods and supplies.

Socialist central planning breeds corruption and mismanagement and that's exactly what happened in Venezuela.
