The bank would be the easiest method.

Find a bank with branches in Mexico, US and Canada (Bank of Nova Scotia comes to mind). Deposit the money in US, have it transferred to a Can branch, then a final transfer to the Mexican one

Mobile phone payment systems will make it even easier to work around it

From a more realistic standpoint the price of lettuce would probably only see a 10-20% increase in price due to labor over a longer term ( a large spike in the first year due to product shortage from lack of picking)

If it takes slightly higher vegetable prices to make America Great Again (and Mexican-free) I'll happily pay a little more.

Make that JOYFULLY pay more.

I always liked bacon and tomato and I'll gladly pay more for the tomatoes if it helps get rid of the illegals and gives jobs to Americans.

The problem is not only will "Americans" not do this tedious, back breaking, hot, dusty WORK ... they don't know how. There is no such thing as unskilled labor. I do agree that something positive needs to be done to ensure migrant workers are treated and paid fairly.

Lets do something positive with immigration laws.

Let's get ALL the illegals the hell OUT.

Then, let's build a wall.

Then let's let carefully guarded temporary Mexicans come in to work whatever crops Americans refuse to work.

If working conditions and pay are improved Americans will do a lot of these jobs.......and improving working conditions and pay will be better for everybody.

Walls never work, in the long run they are unsustainable. Maybe if we build it nice enough a thousand years from now it will be a tourist attraction.
