500 and 1000 Bolivar notes have already arrived, but are not put into circulation. Venezuelans still have to suffer with the largest available banknote with a value of only about 3 US cents. Imagine needing 150 of the largest banknote to buy a jar of Nutella.

Con respecto a los billetes con las nuevas denominaciones, la fuente informó que en los próximos días recibirán los primeros lotes y que con seguridad serán los de 500 bolívares y 1.000 bolívares. No obstante, los de mayor denominación tardarán un tiempo más en llegar al país.
