Great news! Hopefully this time it will move forward and be fully implemented.

Sometimes it's the only way.

It worked in South Africa and it can work in Colombia.

Last time I checked, South Africa didn't let thousands of murderers off without punishment; they set up a commission.

A commission whereby except for the worst perpetrators, you would not be prosecuted if you admitted your crimes and that went for both sides of the conflict which a lot of people don't know, it wasn't just for white police and security forces who committed atrocities, but also for ANC fighters and others who committed crimes against innocents

The price of moving on.

Colombia lacked the resolve to crush FARC for all these years, so they might as well just cut their losses.
