Venezuelan parliament votes to begin impeachment proceedings against Maduro

Two Americans were given 20 years in prison by a court in Venezuela. They were among those who participated in the unsuccessful naval invasion of the country on may 3.
It's political repression of the regime, definitely. A normal, democratic court, would have given three life sentences or a death sentence.

Relevance to Maduro ****ting his bed?

Lawyers, Guns and Money...

;)

But Maduro has none of that. He is a ****ing bus driver.

He has no money. No charisma. He has not even a power base.

You know i understand how Castro stayed in power. He was a charismatic leader. I even understand why Chavez stayed in power, he was charismatic and smart and actually cared.

But Maduro? His people starve and he flies Dubai to eat a Steak in a luxury resort?!

In Bolivia, popular protests are growing against Washington's puppets who seized power in a coup, but liberals are not interested.
The peasants of Bolivia are trying to return the socialism of Morales, which was taken from them by the liberals with the help of "fair" elections and the army. There may be an uprising, and the protesters are trying to arm themselves.

There are very few prospects for Bolivian farmers. Morales' socialism disarmed the people completely, and armed the State, Bureaucracy, and Army to the teeth. As any STATE capitalism usually does.

The humanitarian crisis in Venezuela is staggering, 5 million have left the country equivalent to 17% of the total population. There is an acute shortage of medical supplies, there are food and gasoline shortages, power outages and lack of available drinking water, hyperinflation and increased prices have cripple the baying power of the population and oil production has reach the bottom of the barrel. At the same time Maduro denies there is a human crisis. Time to go.

Socialism/communism, leftist ideals are to blame..

Maduro would not be in power now except for Putin and Trump's love of Putin. He sent Russian troops to protect Maduro and keep him in power. He also sent his nuclear bombers closer to America than any Rooskie nukes since the Cuban missile crisis and Trump said or did nothing.

You need to tell Putin that first. He is keeping Maduro in power by force. Putin is in charge of Venezuela for now. I hope and suspect Biden and our allies will sanction the hell out of Russia until he leaves. We should not be buying his oil either.

Latin American countries have always been poor for 200 years of independence, almost always under the rule of military dictatorships. Of course, this is Putin's fault. Western capitalism have nothing to do with this..

He also send it to Florida. Do you not know that?

Putin's aggression will not stand and neither will his violation of the Monroe Doctrine. Biden will sanction his ass to death until he leaves this hemisphere alone.

US seizure of Iran fuel bound for Venezuela was largest confiscation of its kind ever, DOJ confirms
US seizure of Iran fuel bound for Venezuela was largest confiscation of its kind ever, DOJ confirms | Fox News

The cargo totaled approximately 1.116 million barrels of petroleum, DOJ says

The Justice Department (DOJ) on Friday announced the U.S. government’s “largest-ever” seizure of fuel shipments from Iran in a successful disruption of a multimillion-dollar shipment by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a designated foreign terrorist organization, that was bound for Venezuela.

The Justice Department on Friday said it has “successfully executed” the seizure order and confiscated the cargo from all four vessels, which totaled approximately 1.116 million barrels of petroleum.

US keeps cracking down on companies that violate sanctions imposed again Maduro’s regime. No military force was used in the seizure of the gasoline cargo of the ships. Instead, US threatened ship owners, insurers and captains with sanctions to force them to hand over their cargo, which they did. PDVSA is now incapable of refining crude petroleum into gasoline, depending on the shipments of Iranian gasoline. This large gasoline seizure is a severe blow to the regime.

I dont understand how that pathetic clown is still in power in venezuela.
Because he is no clown, he is elected because he looks after all his people, all of the time, not like America, crapping on all the people all of the time...... and told, we the rest of the world, envy you! Ha! You can keep your American dictatorship. Your secret prisons, your buggery rape of prisoners, held without trial, aye you can keep your American justice.
You get to elect trump or Biden, because they were picked and offered up to you, by foreign parties, and your daft enough to vote for them. Your lot are trying to do the same with Venezuela and they aren't playing.... because they aren't daft.

It's of no consequence to Iran or Venezuela the owners of the seized vessels, will be paid compensation by the American government as the act was one of piracy on the high seas. I.e illegal. I.e stupid, but typical of a regime that doesn't want to work by the rule of law.

Chavez bestest buddy Maduro took the most stable and richest of the South American countries and drove it into the ground through poor practices, over promising on Socialist matters, pandering to his military and basically ruining every productive industry in Venezuela.

And you really don't know how primary elections work... Do you?

No, totally wrong, notice I didn't say lies! The only problem with Venezuela is, they have oil and your vermin are trying to steal it. Just as your lot are doing in Syria and Iraq, but that's going to haunt your American thieves some day in the future. But it is now, everyone knows, Americans are thieves, liars, and unable to keep there word, no honour. And we have the American Boris, of the same mould as your lot!
But the Venezuelan people won't vote for your puppets. They have common sense, unlike Americans, who basically are lead like sheep to there own demise by internal traitors, but you know all about them, my German friend.
I do know about super delegates, hang chats etc..... but a simple fact, what happened to any senator who stands up for America's interests, instead of your Israeli friends, who just happens have both hands in the pockets of the American tax payers?
And those destroying the Venezuelan oil industry are American paid puppets of Zion.

Your ignorance is showing....

Venezuela still shipped oil to the US even after Maduro was slammed.

Why?

For all their Socialist puffery they needed money and the US paid them fair and square.

You do know there was no need to "steal" that which we were already trading in.... Right?

Venezuela Turning Pipelines into Scrap Metal

The Maduro regime is willing to cannibalize Venezuela's crumbling energy infrastructure to pay contractors with scrap metal.

(Bloomberg) -- Venezuela’s capacity to produce some much-needed gasoline and diesel of its own hinges on a single oil play. To tap it, the Nicolas Maduro regime is willing to cannibalize the country’s crumbling energy infrastructure to pay contractors with scrap metal.

Unlike the tar-like crude from Venezuela’s Orinoco region, the light oil from Monagas state is the only kind that’s easy to process into fuel at the country’s aging refineries. It’s also the only area where production doesn’t require the help of sanction-wary partners.

The instability of production at the refineries remain shaky. The country gasoline production is at a minimum with many gas stations rationing fuel or even shutting down. Shipments of gasoline from Iran to ease a fuel shortage has become difficult due to U.S. sanctions. Now the Maduro regime is cannibalizing its own oil facilities to pay contractors. The step of the elephant is slow, but crushing.

Venezuela will start producing a totalitarian russian vaccine in defiance of the very clear orders of president-designate Juan Guaido to wait for the invention of a democratic coronavirus vaccine in the United States in order to produce it in a civilized manner, under license and for money.

Third Iranian tanker docks at Venezuelan port; Maduro promises fuel supply

By Reuters Staff October 4, 2020

CARACAS (Reuters) - The final tanker in a flotilla of three Iranian fuel tankers docked at eastern Venezuela’s Guaraguao port on Sunday, according to Refinitiv Eikon data and a person familiar with the matter, as President Nicolas Maduro promised to normalize fuel supply in the gasoline-starved country.

The three tankers, which began arriving last week, brought some 820,000 barrels of fuel to the South American country, where severe shortages of gasoline -- as well as unreliable power, water and cooking gas supplies -- have led to a wave of protests in the neglected interior in recent weeks.

The shortages come as state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela’s once-formidable 1.3 million barrel per day (bpd) refining network has all but collapsed, although two refineries have for the past week been producing around 50,000 bpd of gasoline.

In recent weeks the Maduro regime shut down gas stations nationwide due to shortages, which created long lines with drivers waiting hours to fuel up their cars. The country consumption of gasoline is about 100,000 barrels, and this Iranian shipments will meet the demand for a short period of time. The Venezuela refineries are producing only around 50, 000 barrels a day, not enough to fill the demand. The crisis is deepening and will result in more protest.

Chile Anibal Villarroel Rojas, 26, was shot and killed by police in Santiago's La Victoria district last night, increasing the number of people killed by police, army and the State to at least 47.
Yesterday was the anniversary of the protests against the government, which continue to this day.
Chile has a liberal Pro-American government, so there will be no sanctions from the EU and the US..

There are some claims on Venezuelan news that the US has troops positioned to invade Venezuela in an attempt to remove Maduro...I do not know how true it is as I do not put a lot of stock in state news in Venezuela, but if it is...I bet it only happens if Trump loses in an effort to wag the dog.
