Before you involve yourself you might want to actual read back and see what his initial smear of the Palestinians was before you shrug it off as a" narrow point" and understand the dishonesty within the " citation " he used to try to make it stick. Recall you are often here claiming to want to sort fact from fiction

He is trying to make out that Palestinians have ripped out much of their sewage pipes and left themselves open to the resultant dangers because they would sooner suffer that in a bid to try to kill Israelis than not. It's a smear and a smear you will be familiar with and if not you can follow the comments section of his cited material. They are the other cheek to the same bum of ignorant bigoted smears that are sometimes used against Jewish people to degrade them as people. You cannot ,imo , condemn one but support the other I'm sure you have been locked into criticizing/debunking the smears from the other side and would not refer to them as " narrow points "

Sorry, the problem is that Hamas is ruining Palestinian infrastructure leading to humanitarian crises but in a way somewhat different from what he claimed?

So I gather in your view it would somehow be less despicable if the pipes hadn’t been deployed yet but were desperately needed, as opposed to them actually being in the ground?

That there are many citations to back up the above when in fact you have cited one only and that didn't back it either

That I have defended Hamas

That I have ignored your citations when I have actually reduced them to the laughing stock they deserve to be part of

That because all of the citations I have given have not mentioned " pipes" or " tubes " specifically when talking about " construction materials" that are considered " duel use " they are not referring to the materials sometimes diverted to make Qassams

Carry on denying the reality of this exchange if you feel better for it but it is all documented and the record is there for all to see

Firstly ,I would have more respect for you had you had actually acknowledged the very real smear that was being directed against the Palestinians that was also being based on a misrepresentation. You know , the one you thought was a " narrow point "? I take it you only find them odious when they are directed at Jewish people ? That Hamas is guilty of acquiring some of the building materials that are intended for Gazan reconstruction is not being contended by me nor do I think that it is beneficial to the Palestinians themselves but to then claim that it is Hamas and not the IDF that is mostly responsible for the " ruining of Palestinain infrastructure " is completely ridiculous and shows your own perspective to be too partisan to be of much value.

I would like to see ALL of the construction materials entering Gaza , either via the GRM or through the black market , being used to make the civilian services/infrastructure better , the only thing I have found to be " despicable " is the lies and general dishonesty of Fledermaus in trying to smear the Palestinians in order to dehumanize them. Having to explain that to a Jewish person who appears to be acutely averse to the use of dishonest smears aimed at degrading the targeted group ONLY if Jewish people are the targeted group is enlightening I must say

Yet the Palestinians cannot seem to repair and/or improve their infrastructure....

I am still confused. This could never be a smear against the Palestinians writ large as clearly the only ones who would dig up pipes would be members of terrorist organizations engaged in building rockets. It could only be a smear against Hamas and the various other terror groups. The only dehumanization possible would be of the all volunteer terrorist organizations that may have engaged in that conduct.

No, it is much sadder than that. The Palestinians have been subjugated by their leadership - their decisions and threats of violence and indoctrination. And for these Hamas folks to rip up water pipes to use in rocket construction is nothing compared to the incitement they use to indoctrinate pre-schoolers to embrace terrorism or their purposeful use of human shields to produce casualties.

So again, I don’t see where you are going with this robust defence of whether Hamas used diverted or existing water infrastructure to build rockets whose sole purpose os to use in war crimes targeting Israeli civilians.

Yeah. Palestinians suffering or so we are told as the "tunnel economy" is used to transport tubing for rocket casings instead of needed food, medicine and materials...

It is interesting that you claim rocket making materials are smuggled in when in the past you insisted the tunnels were necessary to feed the Palestinians in Gaza.

That and wasn't it you that claimed that embargo is what prevented Palestinians from rebuilding in Gaza?
