Israel and Gaza moving towards full-blown war. [W:23]

The IDF shoots and kills unarmed civilians and nurses and nobody bats an eye, so this shouldnt change. Let them kill each other. I have no sympathy for either side.

Israeli jets pounded targets in the Gaza Strip early Thursday, reportedly killing three people after Palestinian militants fired a barrage of rockets into Israel.

The Gaza Health Ministry said a pregnant woman, her 18-month-old child and a Hamas militant were killed. The Palestinian news agency WAFA cited health officials as confirming that a dozen other Palestinians were wounded in the airstrikes.

The Israeli attacks came in apparent retaliation for the launching of about 150 rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israel, wounding 11 Israelis, according to Haaretz. The rockets landed in the southern Israeli city of Sderot, where nine residents were taken to the hospital, including a woman in serious condition, the newspaper reports.

Hamas claimed responsibility for the rocket attack and a tweet issued by a spokesman for the militant group, Abdullatif al-Kanoo, was translated by Al Jazeera as saying that the Palestinian resistance "is in self-defense and has a duty to respond to the aggression against our people."

"The escalation of the barbaric shelling of Gaza and the deliberate targeting of civilians [by Israel] is premeditated and the [Israeli] occupation will suffer the repercussions and pay a higher price for its crimes," he said, according to the news service.

Yup. Invariably reporting will be all about “Israel attacks Gaza” with no context and no callout of who started it.

Israel needs to drop the gloves and go right after Hamas’ leadership until they beg for a ceasefire.

Neither side was ever interested in peace, this is what they want. We should have nothing to do with either side.

That's really what they need to do -- and I've often thought they need to infiltrate the strip, locate the leaders, and then take them out. Hamas keeps pushing civilians to the front of the line of fire - -because they get attention when innocents get killed.

He doesn't believe Jews are entitled to defend their lives, so he minimizes the effect of the Islamic terrorists' weapons and lies about the IDF behavior. He has an experience of a decade of doing so just on these boards.

This should be fun. Always good to watch people run obstruction for terrorist organizations actively trying to murder civilians.

And again, on behalf of Jews everywhere, we sincerely apologize that Israel has made its Jews more difficult to kill. I know it’s frustrating.

The only ones who place them at risk are those going after their lives be it in Israel or outside. Those who thirst for these acts of murder will place the blame on Jews for defending themselves (for existing really) but that's only an appealing argument in the eyes of their fellow Jew haters.
 
Peace is not in Israel's best interest, it only provides Hamas with the opportunity to strengthen for a devastating strike. Hamas strikes indiscriminately, looking for civilian numbers to add to its tally, Israel strikes with precision aimed at weakening Hamas' future capabilities. Both sides are fighting for survival, peace... usually temporary, only beneifts the losing side.

We woke this morning to news of a pregnant mor=ther being bombed in Gaza and a busload of children massacred in Yemen by the Saudis. Weapons supplied by Britain and the USA in their proxy war against Iran.
