Umm...yeah.

That is a pretty well known bit of information...Hamas and the PLO both had that written into their Charters; and more than a few Islamic organizations call for the destruction of Israel.

Nothing new.

The UN is a blatant anti-Israel body which also has a long history of completely ignoring or glossing over the ongoing and systemic violations of Arab nations. Saudi Arabia sat on the Human Rights Counsel, for Pete's sake.

Your criticism lacks perspective.

Even more "moderate" countries have policies that aren't that far from the same, by not acknowledging that Israel exists. I see that as only one step removed from wanting their destruction as well. I remember watching World War Z in at movie theater in Kuwait. Then part of the movie got choppy and confusing, as they were flying on a plan. After they landed at their destination I figured out why, when I saw street signs in both Hebrew and Arabic. They edited out all mention of Israel from the movie.

This is a moderate country in the region, comparatively, and it's that pervasive.

Goldstones retraction , though damaging to the report , makes no sense given the reasoning he gave for it and it becomes apparent that he was/is being threatened and or blackmailed into this position .

Col Kemps list of personal involvement in war reads like the rap sheet of the worst western state terrorist crimes in recent history. So I am not surprised to see him defending the crimes of other rogue states

lol. Sure. Goldstone's original report was biased propaganda. His co-panelists were biased propagandists. His report lacked cooperation from Israel, who rightly saw it as a witch hunt (which it was). That he had enough backbone to fix what he had done (which he frankly should have been able to see for the propaganda exercise it was right from the beginning, even though he thought he could be "fair" in a completely unfair process), may be a bad thing for someone who is an anti-Israel propagandist, that again is not something I can help with.

Compare and contrast to ... pretty much all of the Palestinian factions' approach and maybe funnel your outrage to where it belongs.

John Dugard wrote a pretty damning response to the reasoning Goldstone gave for his change of mind. Finkelstein demolished it further in a separate tome that I read.

The crime of Goldstone and co was to charge that BOTH SIDES had committed serious crimes.

Sure it's okay to level that against Arabs , but against Jews ? Nah that's " UN bias "

Only in the mind of the truly biased imo

I'm more than happy to have you continue to cite to Finkelstein and Chomsky until the cows come home. It actually works to illustrate the foundations of your positions and the folks you think are legitimate founts of knowledge and insight that are worth listening to. Cause obviously for you they are not at all beyond the pale based on their various public musings.

But sure. Finkelstein is the pinnacle of truth (along with Hamas), but things like drone footage and Hamas manuals are just Israeli propaganda.

They are two true pillars of knowledge and moral fortitude, that you dislike them is fully expected and understood here. Their work on this subject and others is quite remarkable imo

You cite Hamas people more than I do but only when it serves your interest

lol. Yes, it's called an "admission against interest" and coming directly from Hamas telling folks in Arabic to ignore the stuff out for public consumption to the gullible west it has the rare specter of authenticity.

But like I said, keep relying on Hamas (everything you parrot about numbers form the "Gaza Health Ministry", for example,is from Hamas), Chomsky and Finkelstein while ignoring hard evidence of what you don't want to acknowledge. it looks great on you.

I very very rarely quote Hamas .There's no need to because there are many people from Jewish back grounds that you can quote instead.

That said I also don't hold the view that all Arabs are dishonest either and that's another place we part company
