'White Supremacists Oppose Military Action in Syria', Declares Israeli Press

You get rumbled for making up your own figures , what ya gonna do ?

Claim the other person is ignorant and uneducated

I don’t know what stats you guys are talking about anymore, but if the stats you believe are correct actually support his underlying point not yours then you’re hooped, aren’t you?

Cause means that no matter what your substantive argument is wrong and his isn’t.

When Israelis stop wanting land instead of peace and agree to Palestinian autonomy in a viable , and it has to be viable , state of their own the carnage from both sides is sure to continue , sadly

I think you typoed in there but I know what you were trying to say and it is clearly and obviously wrong.

It demonstrates a fundamental lack of understanding about the cause of the conflict and Palestinian motivations and objectives and is profoundly dangerous to the Jews in Israel as a result.

Perhaps reflect on that?

I am interested in the facts and , as yet , I don't recall making any point on demographics. He couldn't provide any sources to back up his claim , that's the point I made and it was subsequently validated.

On demographics the fact remains that the vast majority of Jewish people in mandated Palestine just prior to partition were recent European immigrants that had landed there in the previous 40 years. He tried to make out that it was the Arab population that was made up of a recent immigrant population.

For someone who states that " facts matter " you think they would at least know that much

I don't think it's wrong

What’s all this?

Reminds me of that Princess Bride schtick.

I gave demographic info from sites with opposing views to show that neither backed his assertions . That's it

He was arguing there were very few Jews in Palestine when the two state option was debated. I said there were about 15%. He countered by arguing there were about 33%. I said fine. Lets use your stats because they actually make my point stronger... that there were even more Jews. All he has done since is whine that I did not supply an initial link instead of debating his fail.

the same link shows about a half a million Arabs arrived just prior to 1947.

Perhaps, but not sure why this is relevant (sorry I really am jumping in in the middle). My understanding is most today are those who were or are descendants of those who were expelled from Arab countries, including countries where they have a history that goes back way further than the Arabs in Palestine.

We also know there was a huge influx of Arabs following the British conquest and establishment of the mandate for the Jews and that even much of the population that pre-dated this conquest were recent immigrants from Egypt and Syria.

Not sure where that gets us.

That’s fine but it clearly is. Suggest you read a bit more. I like Catch the Jew as the most interesting and fun read on all issues Israel/Palestine/Europe (he has similar fun deep looks at the US and Germany).

The Palestinians want Israel. They are not interested in your idea of peace.

Yup. And the population doubled even before that in a time where there was no reason why the country could sustain more people and the Ottoman empire wasn’t really the exploding western world able to support a rapidly growing population with its industry and innovation, including the fact there was zero agricultural innovation there prior to the Jews introducing it. Which says, again, that immigration was the cause of that increase too.

Now, I would debate and win here but your posts indicate it would be far to easy...

Once again you are banking on peoples inability to check sources .

I checked the one you gave and guess what ?

That doesn't support any of your earlier assertions either and .................that's why you never lifted any of it to quote from

But I'm sure you will still see yourself as " winner " regardless of the reality. Good for you , you evidently like alternate realities so have fun in there

Yup.

Where does it state that in the link they provided ?

I assume that you have read it seeing as you agree
