Here it comes - the lesson to all Muslims to show them that terror doesn't pay:

Whitehouse Signals Western Wall Has to Be Part of Israel

WASHINGTON — Senior Trump administration officials outlined their view Friday that Jerusalem’s Western Wall ultimately will be declared a part of Israel, in another declaration sure to enflame passions among Palestinians and others in the Middle East.

Although they said the ultimate borders of the holy city must be resolved through Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, the officials — speaking ahead of Vice President Mike Pence’s trip to the region — essentially ruled out any scenario that didn’t maintain Israeli control over the holiest ground in Judaism. The issue is sensitive because the wall is beyond Israel’s pre-1967 borders and abuts some of the Islamic world’s most revered sites.

“We cannot envision any situation under which the Western Wall would not be part of Israel. But as the president said, the specific boundaries of sovereignty of Israel are going to be part of the final status agreement,” a senior administration official said. Another official later added by email, “We note that we cannot imagine Israel would sign a peace agreement that didn’t include the Western Wall.”

Muslims need to get used to the fact that this area is not under their control or sovereignty. As time goes on, they'll learn to accept reality.

This should facilitate our relationship with Islamic countries nicely.

Evidently the embassy announcement didn’t create enough of a ruckus fast enough........

It will anger the Palestiniens like the expression of realty always will anger the deluded. But hiw do you propose negotiating peace with good people that think the reality is other than it is?

The leaders know that Trump is right. They also know that the phantasies in the heads of their populations are delusional.

Interesting, fresh off yet another week of defeats and disgusting behavior, the world's greatest at everything revisits a "Wall".

We know there will be more riots, more militancy on the Western Bank, more garbage international diplomats have to clean up for him...all because he got his sorry ass handed to him in in a special election.

What happens when he loses more Republican "safe" seats. Nuke Korea?

I have no doubt in my heart this man will go that far to protect his status. I have no doubt that when cornered, he will try for a place in history with a "big bang"

Stir it up, stir it up. Who cares how much sh*t hits the fan if someone else needs to clean it up?
Gawd, your president is such an a$$hole...

Eventually we need to stop negotiating with terrorists.

How many years does Israel need to de facto control the city before we say “f it, the Palestinian demands are illegitimate” ?

I mean Argentina claims to own the Falklands, that was litigated by War and they lost. Palestinians claim to own Jerusalem, well whose soldiers occupy it?

Time to stop dickin around

Israel is still considered by most of the surrounding countries, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran, Syria, Iraq, etc. to be their mortal enemy. One of the reasons the western world has been repeatedly attacked by extremists in the name of Islam is because most of the western world's alliance with Israel. To do things, unilaterally like declare Jerusalem and the Western Wall property of Israel will step up, not down extremist hate on the U.S. and as a result, more attacks.

There are unreasonable Palestinian demands and there are unreasonable Israeli demands. The question is, in the long run, do you want a future in which they co-exist in peace or not? If not, then anything you have to say on this matter doesn't matter to me.

Not your call. The violence this causes isn't going to happen on American streets. The suicide bomber isn't going to blow up in a mall in Seattle. The missiles from Gaza can't reach you. In fact, none of this has anything to do with the USA. It's just stirring up sh*t halfway around the world that makes a good talking point at home thousands of miles from where people will die for it..
Damn. How many times does the same mistake need to be made before the lesson is learned?

Muslims have been at this for 700 years without accepting reality. I doubt that will change anytime soon.

What's the reality they need to accept? What have they 'been at' for 700 years?

You don't negotiate you impose, then reality has its way naturally.

I love the relax and try to enjoy it recommendations to the civilian victims of this nonsense.

Not a single American would tolerate it.

But we expect others to.

Of ourselves that was the "facts on the ground" plan all along.

And what the civilian Arab population has been complaining about since the beginning.

That Israel occupies more and more land so they can claim fair accomplished when things finally have to be sorted.

According to the UN Mandate on dividing the City it is. Yes I am aware that the Palestinians prevent Jews from praying at the Wall. Aware that Jerusalem was captured in the 67 War.

One can only hope, albeit fruitlessly.

IMO all of Jerusalem as well as the West Bank and the Gaza Strip belong to Israel, as long as they can hold it by their own force of arms.

The Palestinians can either accept the situation and seek recognition and inclusion into Israeli citizenship/government; move to another nation; or revolt and be dealt with.

Moreover, as our ally Israel deserves our support in stabiling their borders. That much an no further, unless it be to react in defense per any military treaty.

More poutrage as anti-semites come out of the woodwork to criticize Trump for treating the Israeli people like human beings.

Have you forgotten when Israel signed a Land-for-Peace deal with Lebanon? It was a comprehensive peace deal, whereby Israel agreed to give back the buffer zone it had with Lebanon, in return for peace. What happened? Hezbollah continued attacking Israel - not over Lebanese land, but over the Shebaa Farms territory claimed by Syria. Hezbollah decided that Israel's land swap was an admission of weakness, and a sign that it could continue attacking the Jewish state.

Likewise, the Palestinians continue to want "all of Palestine" to be theirs - meaning Israel is not supposed to exist on even one square inch of land. So just by existing, Israel is offending Palestinians as it is - the Palestinians will be offended if Israel exists without Jerusalem, or if Israel exists with Jerusalem.

I don’t know, seeing as Israel has the military capability to evict the Palestinians outright, I don’t know there’s any such thing as an “unreasonable Israeli demand”

It seems the Israeli Government has long wanted this recognition. I mean who’s call is it to make? Military occupation is de facto legitimacy as far as I’m concerned
