I am utterly amazed how well Russia is playing us.

First, they used a disinformation campaign to spread the false Ukraine / Crowdstrike narrative.

Somehow they got Giuliani to convince Trump.

Trump coordinated his administration to work with Giuliani to orchestrate this whole debacle that led to the impeachment inquiry.

Partisans jumped to their posts of defending Trump or attacking him.

The Republican establishment is now pushing the Ukraine narrative to the consternation of pretty much anyone left who is paying attention and not roid raging off the impeachment hearings.

FOX and other mainstream conservative outlets are now pushing the Ukraine talking point like it is obvious.

Wow. Russia ****ing rocks at this ****. When did they get this competent?

I think Trump was very easy to convince. His little man ego could not endure insinuations that Russia gave him the presidency. He would do anything to deny that.
Rudy is an opportunistic snake, the kind of guy that Trump would feel comfortable with.

Putin always knew exactly who he was dealing with....what a match. A Russian foreign intelligence agent that rose to President vs. a reality tv guy who can't read who rose to President. I wonder who'll win???.....while America loses.

When some in the republican party decided to help them out by denying they did anything wrong, no meddling, no collusion, no corruption. These are our fellow americans.

It's depressingly amazing isn't it.

I believe they were always this way, the methods they use are tried and true.
Money, Propaganda, Kompromat, Fear, Sex. It puts many a dictator in power and keeps them there.

We became more vulnerable to this when Television took the place of newspaper.
As Roger Ailes said, "the thinking was done for them".
It was further eroded when cable opened the door for less credible competing networks for news.
It was dramatically eroded with the internet, when network TV fell to its lowest viewership, cable was now filled with a mix of journalism and circus clowns, and many other *even less* credible political dissipation sources appeared and took root.

Now Russia literally can, from Russia, get 20 operatives to sit at a PC and influence a U.S. election. It's quite amazing.
And our circus clown infrastructure of phony outlets like Rush on AM, Levin, Beck, Hannity, or internet sites like Conservative Tree House, they not only have no resistance to the threat, they openly welcome it as long as it aligns with their own political agenda.

Our media has been corrupted, and even after 2016 was a wake-up call, no one answered the phone. Twitter, Facebook, Hannity, Rush, all still earning $$ and spreading disinformation.

You go it completely wrong. Russia is playing the Democratic Party like a cheap violin. They got everything they wanted from Obama - and have gotten nothing from Trump. If Clinton had won, she would have given Putin all the rest of Ukraine and all of East Europe too. Probably she would have sold Russia our MIRV nuclear warhead missiles too - not just our uranium to build them with.
