Albeit; most slackers do seem to fair well under capitalism which is obvious by the 'obesity' common among America's poverty stricken.

You have to admit; the United States does have the fattest poor people in the world...
You can only call people slackers for so long until even you fall into their predicament. Bootstraps was coined to make fun of the concept.

According to media reports; his 'obesity' is attributed to a poor diet, mostly junk food.

But the most relevant detail is that Trump doesn't try to pass the responsibility off to others.

Seriously Ham; you should focus more on Trump's many accomplishments rather than his 'ass'.

Okay, Emp, what are his accomplishments? Besides losing money running a casino?

1st; are we on the same page as to the type I referred to as "slackers"?

And 2nd; what would you suggest I call them other than "slackers"?

Oh please, I was talking about his accomplishments as president over the last 3 years.

But if you don't think he accomplished much in private life, I'd like to know by what you judge success?

You were calling people slackers and what is usually referred to as slackers are people that either are working but dont make enough to get by (which is almost always viewed as dependent on income, not by the actual amount of work the worker puts in). This ignores the costs of living, the shoddy pay many people are getting despite working two jobs and people working full time yet still needing welfare.

Its based off the faulty protestant work ethic which shifts blame away from systemic causes to individuals slacking off. It is very unrealistic.

Other than alienating our allies and kissing dictator ass, what has he done?

We obviously have conflicting interpretations of "slacker" and IMO it is you that appears "unrealistic".

This isn't complicated, Bomberfox...here is slacker in a nutshell:

Anyone who competes at the best of their own ability, despite life's many obstacles and regardless of their situation, intelligence, disability, rank, race, caste, position, job, or salary; is not a "slacker".

A true "slacker" is anyone who settles for less than the limit of their ability and usually stand-out by their lack of self discipline, addictions, sabotaging every opportunity, and blaming their failures on others.
