Sanders gave major speeches—at Westminster College, in the United Kingdom, and at Johns Hopkins—warning that “what we are seeing is the rise of a new authoritarian axis” and urging liberals not just to defend the post-Cold War status quo but also to “reconceptualize a global order based on human solidarity.” In 2016, he had asked voters to imagine how the principles of democratic socialism could transform the Democratic Party. Now he was suggesting that they could also transform how America aligns itself in the world.

So, is this authoritarian axis, the axis of evil 2.0? This kind of phrase is dangerous. A dramatic realignment of the U.S allies. I am wondering who will be in this authoritarian axis.

Someone needs to tell Bernie that Socialism is fundamentally authortarian. For example, The Green New Deal, ,( which Sanders be supports ) is pretty much the definition of authoritarianism

Sanders didn't make this chart, but Trump did:

Just look at how Trump gets along with authoritarian despots for the beginnings of the axis Sanders is warning about.

You do realize Trump and Bernie overlap on their foreign policy a lot? Bernie Sanders said he agreed with Trump on talking with Kim Jong Un and said he wants to label China as a currency manipulator.

Well then nevermind. If the chart says the Green New Deal isn't authortarian ( it's the ****ing definition of authoritarianism ) then that settles it

Oh yea, the chart also says " orange man bad ". All Hail the Chart !! Lol !

Read better. The chart says Trump is very authoritarian. It says nothing about the GND.

Why don't you answer the questions from the perspective of the Green New Deal and get back to us.

Ever try to track down the identity of the personnel behind The Political Compass?

Not in a serious way.

I think the questions are within reason and it plots me within reason. Not perfect, but not one that throws people way off, either.

There are reasons why such meme's are common on the internet ... buddies such as Putin, Xi, Kim, Dutarte, bin-Salman, al-Sisi, Bolsonaro, et. al

Then please, give some examples of Trump's " authoritarianism ". And no don't post another chart. I didn't come here to debate with a chart
