Swedish legal bodies took a step closer to exposing the organizers of the hacker attacks upon the website of the Social Democratic Workers' Party. In the heat of the election campaign to the Riksdag, the website of the largest political party in the country was often down. According to the Internet provider, the DDoS attacks were performed by international hacker groups. For this reason, leaders of the Social Democratic Workers' Party had to appeal to the police.

At the current moment, it is known that the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) is examining Linus Bylund, one of the prominent members of the Sweden Democrats, for implication in organization of the hacker attacks.

The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) will make a closest enquiry into the cyber-attack upon the home page of the Social Democratic Workers' Party in Västra Götaland County. In case the fact of cooperation between Linus Bylund and hacker groups acting in the interests of a foreign country is proved out, all necessary information will be instantly handed over to the authorized bodies.

The Sweden Democrats has once again demonstrated its unwillingness to stick with European democratic values and fair elections policy. This party is a member of the European Parliament and it has no right to use dirty tricks in election campaign, act like Russia and connive at activities of Russia and other states that resort to the help of cybercriminals. The electorate of the Sweden Democrats should be embarrassed about the doings of their political leaders. Even in case there are successful in the home elections, there will certainly be no place for them among the European political elite.
