Most US car brands now imported while most "foreign cars" are now made in the USA, what happened?

With every passing year I find myself agreeing more and more with that position regarding unions. They served a vital purpose in our nation’s history and labor laws. Today I am having difficulty seeing any net gain from them. Granted, I have never belonged to a union so I am not speaking from experience.

Well, I'm in the stagehands union.

Our employers make tons of money. Convention work.

They pay their non union employees half what we make to start, and seasoned techs don't make our base rate.

And they totally take advantage. Clever overtime avoidance. Less than 8 hours between shifts regularly.

It isn't a coincidence that the Great Divergence coincides with the breaking of the unions.

Many unions have issues, and I think public employee unions could be limited some.

But business as been fixing Americans for decades.
