By now, many reading this have heard of the political quiz site called https://www.isidewith.com/ . If not then you should really check it out. But what I didn't know until yesterday is that there are quizzes for different countries including the UK, Spain, Italy, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, and even Brazil and India. They all have most of the same questions but there are some differing ones based on political issues of that particular country. For example, for quizzes covering european countries, there's a question about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership which is expected to cover the EU and the US and is quite similar to the TPP.

Apparently Jill Stein is my girl, and Trump is my nemesis.

Thanks for the link.

I just did my isidewith again and coincidentally I got the highest % with the candidate I voted for. however what was weird was that McMullin is pretty similar to Romney and in 2012 I got ~90% with Romney. isidewith says my answers would only match 50% with Romney

I had zero clue as to who he is........but I got him at 87% on the questionnaire.

He’s running for president -- and he has a shot at winning Utah.

Utah’s six electoral votes were considered safe for Donald Trump until McMullin, a conservative former CIA operative and a Mormon, jumped into the race as a third-party candidate.

Why is he running for president?

“I think Hillary Clinton is deeply corrupt,” McMullin told CBS News. “She’s willing to sacrifice our national security secrets and information. Donald Trump on the other hand, I think is somebody who is willing to divide our country -- race against race, religion against religion, and he does pose a true danger to our country.”

Who is Evan McMullin? Third-party candidate may shake-up presidential election - CBS News

I am running for president because I believe that settling for the lesser of two evils is still evil. Just a few months ago, I was still one of millions of voters who refused to accept the depressing choice between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, neither of whom is fit to serve as commander-and-chief. Like all those others, I was waiting for a true leader to stand up and give Americans a better choice. No one did.

As the deadlines for ballot access approached, I said that I would stand up, even if I had no national reputation, no personal fortune, and no party behind me.

When you take these quizzes you are subject to two key concerns. How the test derives issues by candidate (and political lean,) then the weight applied to the candidate's actions and statements about the subject.

Good luck...

Yes those factors can tilt the survey very much, if you want a truer reading I would suggest sticking to the original 2 options for most questions and leaving the importance scale alone.

US candidates:
84% for Zoltan Istvan (transhumanist ?!)
84% for Jill Stein (green)
78% for Clinton
29% for Trump

French candidates:
80% for FdG (communists) ?!
78% for Socialists (main left-wing)
15% for the Repus (main right-wing)
9% for the FN (far-right)

Actually I will probably vote for the far-right. They may be despicable, but at least they want to slow down islamization and europeanization rather than embracing them (especially the internationalist left that switched from anti-clericalism to Mosques funding, from assimilationism to multiculturalism). And economically the left is still trapped in a last century's rhetoric that opposes corporations to citizens rather than facing that we now live in a global economy.

As usual, sites like those are completely off. This is even more true when they attempt to use American perspectives to analyze politics from other countries. The questions become even more meaningless.

In case you're wondering how I voted for US candidates:

88% Zoltan Itsfan

77% Hillary Clinton

76% Gary Johnson

74% Jill Stein

48% Evan McMullin

41% Donald Trump

And for other countries by party I sided most with:

25% Liberal Democratic party (UK)

17% liberal party (Canada)

49% Liberal Democratic party (Australia)

47% Izquierda Unida (Spain)

61% Left Front (France)

57% Free Democratic party (Germany)

4% Sinn Fein (Ireland)

I guess it's probably a good thing that I live in the US
