I’m stating the facts. And the facts are that DHS became aware of a scam whereby Mexican parents were leasing their children to migrants as insurance because having a child and pretending to be a family made them more likely to be catch and release beneficiaries under the previous administration not to mention human trafficking. That’s reason enough to justify temporary separation while verifying if they’re even related or legal guardians regardless of Trump’s motives.

The democrats don't see waves of illegal immigrants crossing our borders as a problem. They want to make it easier for them to bring in even more. To make it more enticing to attract even more.

Crossing the border illegally is the crime. They don't go to the ports of entry to declare refugee status and request asylum.

Your posted article is made up BS. Idiots proclaim an "unprecedented" "record" in the detention of illegal immigrant children when in fact it isn't even near the actual unprecedented record set by Obama in 2015. The article puts these silly ideas in your head and you eat it up so eagerly.

Unaccompanied minors aren't a problem for us when they are on Mexicos side of the wall.

Sure they do. The Trump administration is not keeping its promises to asylum seekers who come to ports of entry | The Texas Tribune

Contradictions like this have always been part of the problem. The famous picture of a child on the other side of a chain link fence was taken years before Trump was elected. Human suffering matters most when it is political leverage

Those people aren't charged with a crime. We were discussing the illegal border crossers.

I really need to stop calling the Republican Party the Party of God. There are way more people in the Democratic Party, like older democrats and African American democrats and Hispanic democrats who have the love of God in their heart than there are in the Republican Party.

    Source?

And if that is the case, it makes no sense to separate the child, use more money and resources to place the children into foster care, and then sort out the family's status instead of just keeping the family together while it gets worked out.
Trump November 2013: "Leadership: Whatever happens, you're responsible. If it doesn't happen, you're responsible."

Trump as President of the United States March 2020:
“I don't take responsibility at all”
