Most of the 680 illegal immigrants nabbed in August’s immigration raids at poultry plants in Mississippi worked under stolen American identities, the Department of Homeland Security’s top investigator told Congress Thursday, rebuffing Democrats who insisted the “undocumented” workers were doing no harm. More galling, according to the Democrats who convened the hearing, is that none of the managers at the poultry processing businesses has been charged.

Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA Democrat Leftists don't care when the identities of Americans are stolen. They are happy to receive any additional tax revenues and see them as votes. That is why, it is up to us to pressure our elected representatives build the border wall, end illegal immigration, and deport those illegals.
Hmm...., Document fraud, no employer prosecutions. They are the same thing overseen by the same scum who keep throwing more Americans to the curb to die.
Ultimately, It takes some time to build the case, and to gather Evidence that can be used in Court. Employers will be fined and jailed as stated in Federal Law if enough evidence can be found.
The big question is, where did the stolen ID's and Social Security numbers come from? How much did the owners and managers know? Has ICE investigated the sources of the false ID's?
Did the owners or managers break Federal law in any of their hiring practices, including that of hiring illegals.

Of course, Republicans will ignore the cheapest and most logical solution to this problem, which is simply to grant these migrants work visas. But I guess expensive boondoggles like border walls and mass arrests and deportations are more appealing to those who simply want to "feel" that something is being done, rather than actually solve the problem.

To grant a work visa one must apply for such document. Want to bet the 680 illegals caught in the raid did not apply. It was easier for them to pay someone for a false/stolen id/ssn.

Your solution of given them a work visa will not stop future illegal entry into the US.

The funny thing to me is that you guys are acting like this is brand new, as if we didn't know this is how they get new IDs. I mean, you don't just print up a SS# card and watch an employer try to send the money to the SS; that's just stupid. Of course someone's ID is stolen!!

But honestly, that's the fault of America. We are willing to hire the cheap labor and we buy the drugs...and this comes with it. Nothing will change it; no wall will change it. Not until Americans stop providing labor and drug markets will illegals stop coming to America.

The most logical solution would be massive economic development assistance for Mexico so they had a viable choice not to come here to begin with, but of course democrats do want cheap produce and yard boys too.

No, it's not OK -- in theory.

But one has to accept brutal reality.

Many Dems and Republicans WANT immigration -- legal and "unauthorized."

They are important people: politicians, media types, professors, etc. They make policy, not nobodies like me.

They keep telling ordinary Americans that to oppose "unauthorized" immigration is to be "racist." Who wants to be "racist"?

President Trump tried to enforce the law, and his enemies have destroyed him.

So, yes, immigration of any kind is now a done deal. Let's move on. There is so much to consider: healthcare, unemployment caused by automation, etc.

I'm all for Immigration "LEGAL Immigration" I am the son of a LEGAL immigrant. This country was created by laws and immigrants that followed those laws. Illegal immigrants refuse to follow the first of those laws by entering this country illegally. Therefore whatever they do following that is wrong and they must leave.

Those identities weren't stolen by the chicken butchers in Mississippi. They were probably purchased from the identity thieves. The buyers only use them to work. If they didn't need them, they wouldn't want them.

I am not a very intelligent person, but I can assure you that they ain't leaving.

As our country's demographics continue to change, and as more Congress people reflect that change, any chance of their leaving fades completely.



P.S. Although I support President Trump's efforts to stop unauthorized immigration, I do support letting the so-called Dreamers stay here legally because: (a) They are going to stay here anyway despite what the Supremes say, and (b) it WOULD be cruel to send them back to those countries that they know nothing about.

The Obama Executive Order for Dreamers set a precedent. It was an Executive decision that the next president could change. Now it's up to SCOTUS to adjudicate it. We'll all have to live with that decision....
