Marine combat veteran who served in Iraq facing deportation to El Salvador

“He is a soldier who put his life on the line to defend his country,” his mother said. "But when he returned from the war, he came back with problems."

Supporters of a Marine combat veteran who served in Iraq are calling on the California governor to help stop his imminent deportation to El Salvador, a country he left at 3 years old.

Jose Segovia Benitez, 38, served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1999-2004 and was deployed to Iraq, receiving multiple awards and decorations during his service, according to Marine and military records. His rib cage is tattooed with large Statue of Liberty.
======================================================
When it comes to non-white people who came here as infants, there is a right way, a wrong way & the Trump way.

Anyone who opts to serve in combat should be given an automatic immigration pass.

And the liberals say the Right is being paranoid when we say the left wants to protect criminal aliens and yet here they are right here saying a lady beating drug dealer should get to stay.

Trump tends to insult/betray our military and our allies.

His past and any future victims should simply take comfort in the fact that he was a veteran.

His convictions include corporal injury to a spouse, for which he received an eight-year sentence, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, narcotics possession, conspiracy to commit a crime and driving under the influence, ICE said.

But hey...he was a Marine. That counts for something, right? That has to excuse his criminal behavior, right?

Our military exists so we can be a secure country governed by American law, which among other things says if you are not a citizen you better mind your manners or you will be removed to the proper country.

Every criminal claims it’s societies fault they’re in trouble. His being in the military does not absolve him of his responsibility to obey the law, “oh we just gave more services (translation:taxpayer money) we wouldn’t have beat his wife and sold drugs”

Well actions have consequences. The Congress has decided not to create a broad exception for veterans in how immigration law is handled. Therefore part of his obligation to our country is not running afoul of said law

Your posts are always political no matter the topic. This time you seem to have worked on the above post for hours. As usual, there's no substance in your post but you've outdone yourself in political pimping. :pimpdaddy: They must be very happy with you back at the bot farm in St. Petersburg.

It’s almost as if we’re on a forum for which the very reason is to discuss politics.

And somehow you don't understand the difference - and never have, as far as I can tell. To top it off I am certain that you have no concept of "discuss".

Anyone who makes money as a drug dealer should be shot in the head.

I did discuss it.

I pointed out the accused has multiple criminal convictions and that the left thinks he as a criminal alien is entitled to stay.

You simply attacked me and didn’t make an argument
