The measure hasn’t been taken to the Senate.

But outrage over it is one of the blizzard of things the Trumpster media is throwing at the wall to try and get people to look away from the issue at hand.

The above is a flat out 100 percent lie.
The VA already HAS an electronic health records system in place called "myhealthevet" (dot com) and any VA user can enroll themselves in the "MyHealtheVet" system, order prescription refills, download any and all health records, diagnoses, or anything else health related, you can set or cancel doctor appointments, you can communicate with your individual doctor or other provider via secure messaging...the whole thing has been in operation since around 2015.

Congressman Mark Walker is a bald faced liar.

So what? Veterans have the VA. You want to reform it, go right ahead, but that doesn't have **** to do with DHS keeping medical records of the people they have in custody. Which they SHOULD.
