The problem is the term 'good' reason itself is subjective. With crime there are often extenuating circumstances. Some will say those are never enough to explain the crime. Sometimes they'll be right. Sometimes they won't. Probably too complex a subject given the scope of the OP.

yea, some communities have chosen (or been intimidated) to cooperate with federal immigration authorities despite the expenditure of local resources to do so. they also turn a blind eye to the federal officials' failure to possess a warrant when apprehending an undocumented immigrant from local jurisdiction
other communities have opted to compel the federal government to do the federal government's work on the federal government's dime

Central and South American are both heavily Catholic. The largest growth in the Catholic Church is in those regions. The people are generally religious and yes they are socially conservative.

And while you are at it define criminal invaders.

Yes... bingo..

Because as a taxpayer.. that cop in the construction zone.. by being there and making people follow the cones.. they are protecting my sons, my wife and me.. every time we go into that construction zone and its safe because people are following the cones.

THAT has benefit to me..

Far beyond taking that cop and making him wait days.. holding some fellow that has committed no violent or any crime against people. , and its so far only suspected that he is in the country illegally...
