I mean the truth of the matter is the democrats want open borders because they oppose every policy meant to decrease illegal immigration while at the same time claiming that illegal immigration is a BENEFIT to the country

"Open borders" is the strawman argument that Republicans are now using against Democrats, because Republicans can't defend their policies on sabotaging the ACA -- which makes Americans pay more in health insurance and their tax-cuts on the rich and corporations -- that cut revenue and now give Republicans the excuse to cut Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid.

Hey, If you have no keys, doors, or windows in your vehicle or domicile then you are perfectly consistent in advocating that others do not as well. I can respect consistency. It just flat out hypocritical to claim otherwise however, just like the ridiculous display of politicians calling for more restrictions on legal gun owners while standing behind a dozen armed guards.

A point of entry is a door and they are not locked. People pass through by the thousands. Besides there are vast stretches along the entire perimeter of the US that are wide open. The US Border Patrol clearly cannot secure the borders. The analogy has no merit.

Have you ever been across the border? I have many times. At no time was I ever allowed to just walk on by without at least a brief discussion.

Had I been carrying a large amount of prohibited goods then I am sure the discussion would have been more lengthy as I once observed another persons vehicle being throughout dismantled. You can disagree but this is in effect..a point of entry or a door.

I always wondered if they were going to bother to put back that vehicle back together as is if they found nothing. Alas I moved on and never received that answer.

Specify a lie told by a Democrat. Generalized attacks are meaningless. You can just make them up. Be specific. What about the Mexicans paying for a wall across the southern border which Trump claimed he would make happen repeatedly. Where's the money?

You heard it from me first. I believe that Pueblo Sin Fronteras is receiving money from Republican financiers. This group is organizing the huge caravans of immigrants that have become political photo ops for the Republican Party. How convenient that Trump can get video footage of these caravans right before the mid-terms. That video footage alone, will assure that Republicans win the Texas and Nevada Senate races.

The people in these caravans are given food and water, along with empty promises. Pueblo Sin Fronteras is only 15-years-old, and they are not affiliated with the American group of the same name - People without Borders. Here is their website:

These people can't even figure out that Trump's promised 10% tax cut for middle income earners is a lie!
You tell them that Congress isn't even in session and they reply with, "Well then it will be the Democrats fault if we don't get the tax cut."

Trump could tell them he built a rocket to Mars made of green cheese, chocolate cake and peanut brittle and powered by his farts and they'd believe him, and then when the rocket doesn't appear, he can just say that the Democrats stole it.
