Herr Trump passed the line today with DACA repeal

ASSUmption... I am always happy when pointing out pathetic Godwin and hyperbole...
You are simply giving your fallacy of confirmation bias, and I am quite happy to leave you to it.

Pointing out you can't make a point without Godwinning and you are prone to hyperbole is "confirmation bias"?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

It is what YOU typed... Along with your assumption.

Because the far right could not handle that they were the minority to a man they could not stand. And now the Trump supporters are horrified their guy, who is not even fit to tie Obama's shoes, is handled the same way.

Because we as a people are a deadly mix of intolerance and ignorance.

We will still be intolerant and ignorant when Trump is gone.

We need to get better.

Yes, you are right, that we are no longer united by those matters that should draw us together.

I say it is worse, I say we dont want to be united and I say that we are stupid....both the heart and the head have gone bad, rancid, rotted.

Here is a guy from Paradise, CA; Brigham Young University and Yale; and on the UNC faculty at Asheville, NC. No moral or ethical rebuttal from any Christian can be possible to his clear headed, clear hearted commentary on Herr Trump's DACA decision today. None.

Today President Trump announced his decision to rescind DACA. This is a significant issue to me, so I’m going to speak bluntly. Donald Trump campaigned on a nativist agenda that tapped into the dark forces of xenophobia and white nationalism. Anyone who voted for him chose to ignore that reality, I suppose because they thought that a Supreme Court justice, or tax reform, or less regulation, or renegotiated trade deals were worth it. Or perhaps they just hated Hillary Clinton.

But whatever the personal challenges you face, or your frustrations with government, if you think that your life will be improved by stripping the future from 800,000 hardworking, law-abiding young people who are caught in a failed immigration system through no fault of their own, I don’t see how you can consider yourself a Christian. Both the Old and New Testaments (as well as the Book of Mormon, for my LDS friends) consistently teach that God will judge us by how we treat the weakest and most vulnerable of our neighbors, and specifically “the strangers that sojourn among you.”

If I had voted for Donald Trump, today I would be deeply ashamed of that decision.

Rule #1. Over generalizing people based on a closed minded assumption is false on its face value. More then enough diverse people voted for Trump to counter your claims of White Nationalism, xenophobia etc. Almost right off the bat, you are trying to paint everyone who voted for the man into your own unethical box.
Rule #2. Opening your mouth and throwing all speculation out the window before we know the full facts is downright idiotic. We do not know the whole story about what will happen with those held under the DACA. For all we know they cold get a government stipend, and be allowed to take specific test. One solely generated just so they could qualify to stay if they pass. Or they would all get shiny new space suits, and get sent to mars.. we don't know as of yet.
At least you admitted the current system failed, which is an obvious statement to say the least.

Rule #3. And this is a big one
If you want to make a moral judgment of anyone, or anything. Refrain from bringing up the bible, or any religion in general. Because nothing says "**** the moral high ground" more than going. My religious text not written by my floating, invisible, vengeful, judgmental, monster of a racist man-child says so.
We could only morally judge Trumps decision if it ended with all of them out on their ass, with nothing to show for it. Which I don't actually think Trump is capable of, or willing to go through the political backlash to do so.

Herr Trump... not gonna even bother reading the OP after such partisan hackery...

Yeah the executive branch *not* refusing to prosecute things which are against the law by grossly illegal executive order sure is evil.

Trump Derangement Syndrome in full force.

I have to wonder how you would feel about an EO that would halt all abortions.

Is someone who supports the move Trump made because I know what he's trying to do, I would not be okay at all with an executive that tried to Halt all abortions with an order. I'm also largely pro-life. But the executive branch is not the king and they shouldn't be able to legislate with an executive order. The reality is they can't. I'm trying to learn about DACA I know a little bit about it I don't know enough to say whether I can support it or not but it sounds like something that I wouldn't support the annihilation of. But it was signed into law with the stroke of a pen meaning it can be signed out of law with the stroke of a pen. From what I understand Trump is trying to get the legislature to legislate.

Yes, Build the Wall
Robert Samuelson, Washington Post

WASHINGTON -- It's time to build the wall -- and, in doing so, prevent an estimated 690,000 DACA "dreamers" from being deported from the United States. It's a fair deal that could be scuttled only by intense and self-serving partisanship from the White House and the Republican and Democratic congressional leadership. . . .
