Sheriff warns: Every county will be 'border county'

A decent latino? Do you even think before you post **** like that?

I traveled around the country and the world a fair bit when I was in the service. I traveled with a fair number of latinos. My XO when I got out was a latino. I base my respect for people on what they do, not on their racial or ethnic background. Why are you so fixated on that background?

Because most of the ones I have met, not all, have been nasty criminals. That picture says volumes.

Is it, was there something important to read about Canadians?

Naw...just the truth.....and it's about the USA......Canada is having their problems as well.

I travel quite often all over. I don't have blinders on which I think allows me to judge beyond what a picture says. The fact is you cannot truthfully admit the picture is in fact gang members. I don't deny there are many Hispanic gang members, I know many. But just because someone looks like one doesn't mean they are. I mean I could look at you and say oh a typical white hillbilly anti-government crazy preppers but aren't you better than that?

Well sure and if you saw my photo, you'd have the white part right.....my greatest asset in undercover work was that I didn't look, or act, like a cop. Most folks seriously underestimate me....and I like it that way. I did the same thing, with what appeared to be an old man.....when I was 19. I paid for that one.

What is really revealing is that when he thinks of latinos, he thinks of gang bangers. When I think of latinos, I think of people I served with, or the neighbor when I was younger with the horses that taught me how to ride.

Noooooo.........................I don't think of all of them as gang bangers and never said I did! I've worked with some salt of the earth Latino folks, in many different jobs......they visited my home, I visited theirs.....rode horses, with them, went shooting with them, hunting with them and fishing with them. You guys sure like to add up a column of figures, with numbers missing.

So where did you get the pic? It wasn't part of the article. ya sure these guys are the result of minor immigrants?..........

Looks like the original picture/story here.....

Mara Salvatrucha gang members attend a mass celebrated by Archbishop Luigi Pezzuto, Apostolic Nuncio to El Salvador, and head army and police chaplain Monsignor Fabio Colindres at a prison in Ciudad Barrios, El Salvador, Monday, March 26, 2012.

:doh El Salvador.....

....The Mara Salvatrucha gang originated in Los Angeles, set up in the 1980s by Salvadoran immigrants in the city's Pico-Union neighborhood who immigrated to the United States after the Central American civil wars of the 1980s.[10][11]

Originally, the gang's main purpose was to protect Salvadoran immigrants from other, more established gangs of Los Angeles, who were predominantly composed of Mexicans and African-Americans.[12]

Many Mara Salvatrucha gang members from the Los Angeles area have been deported after being arrested.[13] Namely, Jose Abrego, a high-ranking member, was deported four times.[14] As a result of these deportations, members of MS have recruited more members in their home countries. The Los Angeles Times contends that deportation policies have contributed to the size and influence of the gang both in the United States and in Central America....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS-13

....MS-13 is the product of the vicious Central American civil wars of the 1980s. Thousands fled north, many of them veterans of both sides. Unable to find work because of a lack of education, some of these refugees decided to leverage their combat skills to survive, forming Mara Salvatrucha. As a result of toughened immigration polices, U.S. officials deported MS-13 members to their countries of origin. However, this solution proved facile and politically expedient. After their return home, MS-13 members ruthlessly destroyed the local gangs and took control of huge swathes of Central American cities...

Naw...just the truth.....and it's about the USA......Canada is having their problems as well.

Which is what, that Maryland has a huge problem with illegals, yeah sure they do.

In testimony before Congress Tuesday, a Maryland sheriff said amnesty for minors has led to increased gang crime and warned that without a secure border every county will be a “border county.”

“Open borders, reckless sanctuary policies, and failure to enforce our immigration laws have greatly impacted public safety and national security throughout every jurisdiction of this country. Every single day, more Americans are becoming victims of senseless crimes, being injured and killed by criminal aliens, many are transnational gang members,” said Sheriff Charles Jenkins of Frederick County, Md.
Sheriff: Every County Will Be 'A Border County' | The Daily Caller

The massive intentional disregard for the laws, by the obama Regime, should be an impeachable offense, resulting in criminal charges for dereliction of duty.

These punks pictured above, will not assimilate into model citizens....they will just add to the gang problems we already have coast to coast!

This administration is lawless and worships thug mentality , no surprise they oppose the 2nd Amendment for law abiding working Americans .

Thing is, most of those bankers, lawyers, elected officials and professors, had a pretty good upbringing. These border rats come out of the sewer! Big Difference!

And then you have Angela Davis. That bitch should have been executed for her crimes...skated .....and is now a college professor preaching anti-American values and Communism!

And that is only one example of those who slipped through the cracks and found freedom and success, instead of prison or electric chair, where they should have been sent.
In any large group there will always be a wide latitude in the range of individuals.

And I stand by my statement: Many, if not most, of the sixties protesters went on the lead productive lives.

Attempting to paint individuals in anonymous pictures with a wide brush of your stereotypical assumptions, is disingenuous to those individuals.

Highlighted....that is a good thing and those are the smart people that have taken off their blinders!
A good thing in your mind, but not in all. But the legality has already been decided in favor of proliferation, so all I can offer is opinion.

But I again stand by my statement: A large part of the proliferation of guns throughout all segments of society is fear driven. I see it in this thread, in your posts and others.

Why do you judge someone you don't know? For all you know he is a tatted up family guy who works 80 hours a week. I know it's easier to call him a gang member or punk though.

I would never hire anyone who looks like that for my business....and those with a public image, wouldn't either!!!

They look like freaks from a circus sideshow and are so disgusting, decent people don't even want to view that!

Looks like the original picture/story here.....

:doh El Salvador.....

And those people are migrating here by the thousands...across the porous borders that the obama Regime ordered a Stand Down!!

Because most of the ones I have met, not all, have been nasty criminals. That picture says volumes.

The picture is from El Salvador, which speaks volumes about your honesty.

I bet you have a black friend too...

Absolutely! :thumbs::thumbs:

Fear Driven? Damn straight it's fear driven .....and for good reason. I stand by my statement. Criminal activity in the last couple of years has taken a noticeable uptick....I cited two of those above.
People are in fear, because the police, in most cases, cannot protect you....they never really could...and the citizens are waking up. The smart ones arm up because they realize that their FIRST line of Defense....is themselves!
Once again, I submit that you have little to no experience with street crime or the wide open spaces where police are far and few....

I bet you have a black friend too...

The picture was used by my news broker and accompanied a link to the story I posted. This is typical of Hispanic communities in the US.....and don't tell me it isn't!
The photo could have been taken in East LA any day of the week.

Nope, don't have any black friends, because in my part of Oregon, there were none for years.....and even now, I only see a black person once a week, sometimes twice.

The college recruited them from Compton to play basketball....not smart IMO.

Blacks make up less than 1% of the population, in southern or eastern Oregon. That is why crime is so low here.

Damn right they do....both Hispanic and Muslim!

Hispanics are a problem? Muslims, what percentage of the population are they in Maryland? I was in Baltimore two years ago on business and never saw either.

Absolutely! :thumbs::thumbs:

Alright, fair enough, I'm not going to beat on this.

You make reasonable points.

I suspect the differences lie in either our environments, or our personal constitutions.

But your direct experience in this matter may be a double-edged sword: Yes you have experience, but you were immersed in a troubled environment for the better part of your working day. I grew-up in a marginal neighborhood, and was even mugged once when younger. But even then, my experiences in my day-to-day life has been one of a general feeling of laid-back safety. Besides using the normal amount of caution appropriate for a big city, I essentially go through my day in an open and approachable manner, feeling 'one' and 'at ease' with my surroundings and fellow citizens.

But I know a fair number of PD (in one of the most violent cities in America), and nearly all are so safety conscious and cynical that I feel they are almost paranoid. They see trouble everywhere, and have a lot of dislike for a multitude of their fellow citizens. Whereas I leave the house eager for the possibilities of a new day, they're always looking for the troubles they can find and believe are lurking just around the next corner. Enough so, that they make me edgy. And one of these guys is a childhood friend!

Now I painted the above with a very broad stroke, but who's right?

I dunno. I'm sure most coppers would think I'm naive. But I see enough of them as being cynical and paranoid because their everyday environment and world is far different than mine. But I came from a tough enough environment though, so I just don't get it. It must be our individual constitutions. I have no other way to explain it.

This thread is just another example of how clueless many Republican voters are. After DECADES of the GOP doing nothing about immigration, both legal and ILLEGAL, many Republicans still believe our immigration problems are 100% the blame of the Dems, and specifically the current Admin.

The very business friendly GOP hasn't, nor will they EVER stop letting the immigrants in that their business masters and Corporate lobbyists love. And that INCLUDING the BUSINESSman, Mr. Donald Trump.

You have to get away from the touristy Inner Harbor...and....the last two years have changed that town a lot. Their biggest problem is the Blacks, and has been for 50 years or more.

Good points. That is why I'm fed up with the Republican Party and think that The Donald deserves a fair shot. Hell, 8 years of going backwards under obama...should teach us to look in a different direction. If he turns out to be a fraud, we can boot him in 4 years....but I don't think he can damage America as bad as obama has done.

Neither your photo, nor Trump's apparent photos are truly representational of an entire group of people.

And neither Hillary or Bernie are representative of an entire group of people.

I've dealt with the scum of the earth, while good people are at home in bed or at their work. I've told people for years, when they say what you say. I tell them that they have no idea the vile filth and vermin that roam the streets and prey on the world. If it wasn't the truth, we wouldn't see multiple reports in the MSM ...daily!
As a cop in California, I saw a lot more of it than here in Oregon. Having been present at 3 riots in my career, I've seen levels of violence, hate and disrespect for laws and fellow humans, that I never thought possible.
I think it is both, the area I live in vs. where you might be and our view of the world. Having packed a sidearm since I was 19, I have a lot more confidence in a better outcome for me, if **** hits the fan.

The people who live in crime infested communities, and go unarmed, are subscribers to the Tinker Bell handbook.. That's not to say that everyone is capable of handling a firearm or has the mental fortitude to use it when needed. For those I say...Good Luck and I hope there is a good Samaritan out there somewhere, who can call an ambulance for you!

Concerning immigration Obama hasn't done ANYTHING different than any other POTUS of the past 30+ years. We haven't gone 'backwards' at all. He has done NO 'damage'. That's just right wing fear mongering and hatred at anything Obama.

That is why I'm fed up with the Republican Party

Sorry, but I don't believe you. Your constant partisan shots at Dems and Obama, especially concerning immigration tell me you are Republican through and through. You may be frustrated with the GOP because of their inaction and lies about immigration over the past decades, but you're not Fed-up. You still firmly believe the Dems are 100% the blame for our immigration problems.

AH, we are it the "It is some one else's fault I did it" excuse now.

He's a typical so called 'self responsibility' Republican. In other words, hypocritical as hell. It's always someone elses fault.

And from reading through this thread I can see why he's a Trump supporter too.

I did not even know that there are touristy areas in Maryland, I was going there on business trips. Oh, so now we add the blacks to your list of problem people. There seems to be a theme going there, I Wonder what it is................

I don't give a Tinker's damn if you believe me or not. Dems are 180 degrees opposite of nearly everything I believe in....from abortion, to the absolute of the Constitution, to immigration, to gun control to gayism ......and these newly invented transgender scum that should NOT be allowed in opposite sex, public restrooms.
I've been down on the GOP since Boner took over and capitulated with obama. The man is a disgrace to his party and so are McConnell and Ryan.

I filed as an Independent yesterday. Above all, I am a Conservative with Conservative values....it matters not what party I'm affiliated with...or no party at all.

btw..........I sent several emails to the Bush WH, denouncing Bush's "stand down" orders to Border Patrol. Two of my BP friends quit over that, and so did many others. Many more have quit under obama. I also denounced Bush's creation of the Patriot Act ( a misnomer if ever there was one) and Homeland Security.

obama has done tons of damage to this country...starting with racism, he's taken racism and reversed any progress the Blacks have made through his divisive actions in Florida, Baltimore, Pa. and Missouri. Followed by his immigration policies, gun control rhetoric and foreign relations.

obama is a menace! Take off the blinders!

I've never been a hypocrite....that's a liberal Democrat value. I'm a Trump supporter because Trump tells it straight. No he's not perfect but he sure is a damn sight better than obama or Hillary!

I have many relatives in Baltimore, been there many times over several decades. As with most large cities, the Blacks commit about 70% of the crimes. However, the Hispanic and Muslim groups, are the new players on the field.
