Shoah

The diaries of Truman and Patton reveal their true feelings, the things they were not allowed to say publicly. I never said they wished Germany had won the war, I said they regretted some of the results of the war, such as;

"Were it not for the fact that it will be, so far as I am concerned, a kick up stairs, I would like it much better than being a sort of executioner to the best race in Europe.
Later when people wake up to what is going on here, I can admit why I took the job.
Am I weak and a coward? Am I putting my posthumous reputation above my present honor? God how I wish I knew...
P.S. No one gives a damn how well Bavaria is run. All they are interested in now is how well it is ruined."

Patton frequently referred to Germans as the best race in Europe, or the last decent people in Europe. We know what he thought of Russians, Jews, and others he'd helped; he thought they were less noble and less human than Germans. That's the facts Tiger.

Truman was mortified when he learned of the nature of those he'd helped to saved, saying that when it came to brutality and ruthlessness, the Nazis had nothing on the Jews. I wonder if Truman and Patton believed in the '6 million' theory? Probably not.

Churchill is now being lumped in with Hitler by college professors. Yes, there's no moral hierarchy to these types- any white, non-Jewish leader is as bad as Hitler.

So, as I figured, no regrets whatsoever about annihilating Nazi Germany and obliterating your heroes, putting an end to the systematic mass murder they were committing.

Like I said before, Patton was a nut. A good general, but a nut. Your heroes were about as far away form being the “last decent people in Europe” as humanly possible. But hey, we all know what happened to your idols.....they would up dangling from ropes or hiding in holes.

Oh look, another example of Holocaust denial from you. What a surprise....not

Because I do know history I was able to call the Anglo-American firebombing of of the civilians and refugees who were fleeing the advancing Red Army a brazen and indefensible war crime which will bring eternal shame on the British and Americans.

Hmmm, I wonder why they were fleeing the Red Army.

The English and French were well fed, in the First World War. The Germans, because of the blockade, had only rutabagas.

In both World Wars Germany was the architect of it's own demise.

So you were pleased that your strawman argument wasn't addressed or defeated. Bfd.

War was declared on Germany for invading Poland, but not on Russia when they invaded Poland 16 days later.

Apparently Great Britain's oath to protect Poland from invasion only applied to western Poland.

Apparently, and wisely, both Great Britain and France had no interest in trying to fight BOTH countries. As Germany was the first to invade Poland, and the Soviets basically advanced into territory later offered by Germany (and a Germany's instance), and given that Germany was on their borders OF COURSE they weren't going to add the Soviet Union to the list weeks later.

This is a nearly 10 hour documentary about the Holocaust, retold by eyewitness accounts. I finally got to see all of it, and it is staggering. I learned a few things I hadnt been previously aware, like the majority of the einstatzgruppen were not just Germans, but rather people from other countries, like Ukrainians and Lithuanians. In fact the Germans were so appalled by the Lithuanian's brutality against Jews that many of their own leaders suffered nervous breakdowns.

The worst part of it was, many of the einstatsgruppen were never brought to justice, even though their names were well known by the authorities.

Did anyone else watch this documentary?

I have never heard of it. I looked it up on Rotten Tomatoes
Expansive in its beauty as well as its mind-numbing horror, Shoah is a towering -- and utterly singular -- achievement in cinema.

100% on the tomatometer 97% on the audience score.

Seems like it is worth a viewing. I have to be in the right frame of mind to watch a documentary like this. I will watch it, just not sure when.

Oh look, the Holocaust denier is melting down again. Again, not a surprise.

I don't deny the holocaust happened. You're only goal in life appears to be to bungle every piece of information that enters your brain.

You “just“ desperately try to downplay the number of victims killed to a number far lower than has been historically established.....which is still Holocaust denial.

Sort of like how your heroes bungled their escape attempts and have been dragged out their hidey-holes like the scum they are over the years :lamo

The USSR had seized Estonia, Lativa, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Central Asia, Mongolia, had briefly seized Hungary, and funded the revolution attempts against Germany, plus they were planning on invading Finland in November.

All of the above hadn't merited intervention apparently. This is why many in the UK seriously questioned just what the hell their government was up to ignoring the preceding 20 years of Soviet conquest in Europe, while taking the country into war over just half of Poland.

You're definitely a one off. Most of the foam-at-the-mouth, holocaust obsessed people died off years ago. Most of the current social justice crusaders of today couldn't care less about the holocaust. But get your terminology in order; we don't accuse you of being a 'Dresden denier' just because you're the type who both drools at the idea of bombing German civilians, while also downplaying the actual number of dead.

Bungle Harris, joo it again.

Oswald Mosley and his pathetic handful of fellow inbred would be collaborators do not qualify as “a lot of people”.

England had tried to prop up the White Forces during the war. It failed because besides being largely incompetent, the only thing the White Forces could agree on was “communism is bad” which left them disorganized and wide open to defeat in detail......which is exactly what happened. In the aftermath of the vast casualties they had taken in World War One, with Ireland blowing up next door, and with the Tsar and his family corpses, there was no feasible way for England to do much in the way of anything.

Not to mention, of course, that most of those territories were former parts of the Russian Empire carved out at Brest-Litovsk— which was a far harsher treaty than Versailles, despite all the German whining— and therefore nobody in England much cared if they were reabsorbed into Russia.

Still waiting for your EVIDENCE in regards to the number cremated and why technology wasn't available for, what was it..., 80 years?

Oh look, and now the Holocaust denier is bringing up Dresden again. You do realize that more than half of the Dresden myth was the product of soaviet propaganda to try and get East Germans onboard with the whole “evil capitalism” shtick, right?

It was massive inflated numbers from the start, directed from the desk of Goebbels himself— Dresden wasn’t even close to being the worst hit city— a city with, despite the usual bull****, numerous military and industrial targets— and then seized upon after the war by the Soviets. Congrats, your bull**** is literally Soviet propaganda :lamo

Your heroes ran like panicked rats off the sinking ship, and it still didn’t save them. Your favorite Romanian psychopath was a deluded moron wh9 accomplished nothing and whose followers murdered a handful of people and then ran away to leech off the SS.

Your being disingenuous. You know that you are mixing time periods and political conditions that have no bearing on choices made in 1939 to stop Hilter and German conquest of Europe. Carping about Georgia (controlled by Russia long before the Revolution) or Belarus (already a historic area incorporated into Russia) is immaterial to the situation in 1939.

The French and the British had repeatedly warned Hitler to cease his violations of the Versailles treaty. While the Soviet Union was threatening, Germany's promity to the Anglo-French and experience of WWI made opposition to Germany more urgent as well as practical.

Quit whining about 'poor Hilter'. Your getting sickening.

Fortunately for the rest of the world the French and the British have a better understanding of grand strategy than you do, so they were able to make intelligent decisions and not worsen their position through pointless endeavors.

I may be long-term unemployed, but I am not uneducated. I have read many thousands of books. While you were working. ;)

(Among other things a lot of technical literature about the extermination of Jews.)

(Personally, I find the extermination of the Jews even more interesting than the plague of 1346.)

I'm sure you had a lot of fascinating information dreamt up by a lot of pale faced guys with shaved heads.

Completely different circumstances and events.

Which the British and French wouldn't have been aware of in September 1939.

Of course not. Why would it?

Had Germany not been bound by treaty to the French and British and then openly defied them, the situation might very well have been different. But Hitler demonstrated he had no concern for that when he seized the rest of Czechoslovakia. What followed was neither surprising not unrealistic.

I never said a single word about Hitler. But it's so constructive to be lectured by milk toast conservatives who're in the process of forcing their own ideology and political party to go extinct by their inability to grow an actual pair of testicles. Yes, it doesn't matter how many Zionist asses you kiss, it's not going to prevent you from being judged the same as me. Anyone that the modern left disagrees with is a Nazi.

Britain made its bed, and now it shall lie down and die in it.

Churchill statue 'may have to be put in museum', says granddaughter - BBC News

Even the Churchill statue in London can't survive the diversity that you pretend is our 'strength'. The cuckservatives have been in power in the UK and USA for a majority of the last 4 decades. They're no better than the brainless AOC's of this world, who really haven't a clue about anything, yet think they should run things.

I know you're sympathetic to the Communist Soviets, but even you should be able to argue more of a case than essentially saying 'so what'. Russia was expelled from the League of Nations for invading Finland two months after they invaded Poland, yet no declaration of war ensued. Of course, Communist Russia had been an aggressor throughout Europe for 20 years by that time. They'd committed ethnic and class-based genocides that killed 10 million people, prior to the start of the holocaust in late 1941. It's uncanny how Britain supposedly cared so much about the portion of Poland that Germany invaded.

I know you're sympathetic to Nazism, but you should have been able to come up with a better counter than "you're a commie!1!".

Russia was expelled from the League of Nations for invading Finland two months after they invaded Poland, yet no declaration of war ensued. Of course, Communist Russia had been an aggressor throughout Europe for 20 years by that time.

The only major war the Soviets had fought in Europe at the time had been the Polish-Soviet War.

They'd committed ethnic and class-based genocides that killed 10 million people, prior to the start of the holocaust in late 1941.

No they didn't.

It's uncanny how Britain supposedly cared so much about the portion of Poland that Germany invaded.

It's somehow surprising to you that the British were willing to fight a country that had openly defied and aggravated them with broken treaties than the nation that Britain did not have a serious quarrel with.
