75 years ago. Unconditional surrender of Evil

On may 11, 2014, referendums were held in Donetsk and on may 12 in Luhansk, then still regions of Ukraine, where the question was asked:" Do you support the Act on state independence of the Donetsk/Luhansk people's Republic?". 89% of the region's residents answered:"Yes". For 6 years, Donetsk and Luhansk residents have been defending their choice with weapons in their hands.

On June 27, 1905, a mutiny broke out on the russian battleship "Prince Potemkin-Tavrichesky".

The reason for the sailors' revolt was a mere trifle: the military cattle were fed rotten meat, and for grumbling, the noble officers severely punished the sailors. Normal everyday life of class society. At that time, the rebels had no understanding of the goal, no plan of action, no associates, no leading and guiding force.

But soon all this appeared.

On July 10, 2006, the terrorist Shamil Basayev was eliminated during a special operation.
In terms of the amount of blood spilled and brutality, he could easily compete with the "number one terrorist" (Osama bin Laden).
What bin Laden and Basayev also have in common, is that both of them use to be "Freedom fighters" in the eyes of the West.

July 9, 75 years ago, Deputy people's сommissar of defense Bulganin reported to Molotov that to Poland allocated 130 thousand heads of cattle and 20 thousand heads of pigs. And since the city of Warsaw has asked for more cows and pigs, marshal Rokossovsky will allocate more than that.
So brutal was the Soviet occupation of Poland...

4 years to the feat and heroic death of police Lieutenant Magomed Nurbagandov, Hero of Russian federation, posthumously.
10.07.2016, captured by the territorial group. At gunpoint, he refused to record a call to the security forces of Dagestan to join the terrorists.
Said on the camera famous: "Keep working, brothers!" and was killed.

On July 15, 1975, 45 years ago, manned spaceships - the Soviet Soyuz-19 and the American Apollo-soared into the sky with a difference of several hours to conduct an experiment to dock and create the first ever unified international orbital complex. Two days later, soviet cosmonauts Alexey Leonov and Valery Kubasov met in the docking module with american astronauts Thomas Stafford, Vance Brand and Donald Slayton. The docking took place when the ships flew over Moscow, and the handshake of the cosmonauts took place over the Elbe, which was very symbolic in the year of the 30th anniversary of the Victory.

If this crime remains unsolved and criminals unpanished [sic] then how do you know it was "Ukrainian radicals"?

Because this is the 21st century, everyone has phones and all the action was filmed live from many points. The fact that you do not know after 6 years how the murder of people took place in the house of Trade unions on that day, despite the fact that the footage of these events was immediately presented on YouTube, suggests that americans, as usual, do not have the slightest idea what is happening abroad and all information about this is dosed by the "Fake news". Unlike you, I spoke with people who were in Odessa at the time and know about the events not only from official sources and YouTube. Do you think that if the US government sends money and military instructors to ukrainian fascists, then it is the duty of a patriotic american to support what the government supports?

It also marks the day when the most boring thread ever was posted on a discussion site.

On August 3, 1980, the Olympic mascot 1980 - the Olympic Little Bear, Misha - was released into the sky in Moscow.
The most touching farewell to the Olympics in the history of the games!

President of Georgia:
"12 years have passed since the tragic events of 2008... Our answer is not to be humbled! As it has done many times throughout its history, Georgia has proved that it has a great desire to survive."

I'm glad she remembered the history. Too bad she didn't remember WHO helped Georgia survive.

On August 14, 1908, the first international beauty contest was held in the English town of Folkestone. Its organizer, entrepreneur and Manager of the Marina, Robert Forsyth, suggested comparing girls from different countries.

Girls from England, France, Austria, Ireland, the USA, Denmark, Germany, Italy and Spain took part in the competition. The winner was 18-year-old Nellie Jerman. She ended her speech with a simple wish: "I want peace on the whole Earth and a new piglet for my dad."

On this day in 1985 I tripped over a cat and bumped my head.

On this day all through recorded history things happened.

It has been exactly 23 years since the Judgment day did not happen! I want to say a big thank you to Sarah and John Connor, Kyle Reese, Tim, Miles Dyson, and everyone who was involved in changing the future! Thank you!
