I guess Truman didn't know that at virtually the same time he uttered his wisest words for socialism, socialism was busy slowly starving 120 million human souls to death? You see, when govt helps some people it does so at the expense of others thus discouraging everyone from working and encouraging everyone to slowly starve to death.

So you are for getting rid of Medicare, Medicaid, Canada's system and all the other single payer or similar systems in the world? Unlike you, I do like that. Medicare is over 50 years old, seems people like it, even Trump. As for the ACA , he hopes to replace it with something even better Get with the program.

And Nazi's and Communists get around. The Hitler-Stalin pact was obviously about healthcare. Who knew?

You said that socialism is when the government runs things. You are in favor of the government running the monetary system. Ergo, you are clearly a socialist.

I don't understand why you pretend liberals are the leeches, when red states are the ones getting more money from the feds than they give, while blue states take on the responsibility of paying for conservative irresponsibility.

Absolutely, solidarity, community, all the major religious traditions, etc. are behind this sort of thing. I leech off my neighbors, and them off me when they need it. If you haven't noticed, it's the way the world works: I also leech off the fire department, the police department, the highway department, garbage collectors, etc., and don't started on FEMA and the defense department, all my sucker victims.
