Your Trump guy said to his followers in some states to "liberate" themselves by defying health care provisions of COVID-19. Well, some of the masses out there were wearing their masks and haz mat suits chanting.

If these people become sick due to their defiance I see no reason for doctors or nurses to treat them. They can be prosecuted for being disease spreaders.

We gotta have mercy. We should treat them but they should be required to wear a Maga hat the whole time and everyone can take pics.

treat, quarantine, and send them a being an idiot copay penalty.

This poster's first thought is the-hell-with-them. Still, any civilized society would take care of them, even though they have the judgement of a 4 year old. Most of their idiocy can be laid at the feet of Rush Limbaugh, Fox Noise and others.
(I wouldn't be that happy about it though..)

I suspect he learned it from them.

Rather than not treating them at all, (that's sort of inhumane) I would prefer to get every one of those protesters who come down with coronavirus, round them all up and load them aboard the Holland American cruise ship Zaandam and send them out to sea to sail around searching for a country that will allow the ship to dock, but not this one.

The ship has its own hospital and medical staff, they wouldn't be abandoned, they would be treated, albeit with no ventilators to speak of. But they're all younger and don't expect they'll ever be needing one anyway.

Protests are NOT an essential activity.

Now THAT'S compassion.

Now THAT'S compassion.

More than the compassion they're showing for all the people they may unintentionally infect that may die.

It's a good question.
Ironically, Ayn Rand's romantic fantasy books, Atlas Shrugged in particular, was a fantasy of just that. The big capitalists who were so tired of the "parasites" (aka working class people), trying to use guberment to "steal" from them, that they took their amazing ideas that apparently the CEOS themselves created and engineered (lol), and hid away in a super secret utopia.

The fantasy here is that if we did like Rand did, we'd take away all socially-created good, and let them "fend for themselves" in their selfish, "survival of the fittest" nonsensical claims. They'd dangle their worthless money, and would be rejected because they refused to keep others safe...their money would be worthless because they have agreed they don't; give a **** about anyone but their own family and friends (at least two posters have recently confirmed this). So doctors would say, yeah, I don't know you..you put me at risk, you put others at risk...good luck...get one of your selfish buddies to help you.

But of course, that's not right.

We have to love life, including all others, in the philosophical context. I don't; know Rush Limbaugh, but I love him and his family and hope they stay safe and live a full life. I don't like him, I probably hate how he spends his time, but as a human, I still love him. That's not a contradiction, and it's not that complicated either. Even laday gaga gets it, she's espousing this right now on ABC.

But some don't get it, and we still gotta love those turds. /preach

Republicans giggling about the death tolls being in Blue states. Even more giggling that blacks and browns have a higher % rate. Money over Lives —

Reagan’s service economy collapses again this Century — corporations win again — trump’s response has earned him responsibility for every economic and health #

I haven't heard anyone giggling...except Nancy, over her ice cream.

Do you intentionally check my comments with a magnifying glass to find one word that you will be able to take issue with? You must be really desperate for some attention. Not meaning to be insulting but you might consider taking your dog out for a walk more often, maybe a drive for you and the wife out in the country? Those things really help to center your mind onto what's important in life and what isn't.

Getting back to your comment, not everyone that is carrying the virus while asymptomatic will pass the virus to someone else. They may and they may not.
