When you have insurance you don't have to care what it costs.
OMG!! but you have to care what the insurance costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you have insurance you don't have to care what it costs.
they also work 3 times more.
Yeah, I went through the quote process. Best they could do was $186 per month.
yes so we need Republican capitalism in the insurance industry. Make sense??
OMG!! but you have to care what the insurance costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you said there was no catastrophic??? Guess you were wrong again?
they do?? who cares?? We have same per capita doctors as Europe and live about as long even when their doctors get 1/3 the pay.
US doctors are 3 times more productive. That's why your office visit only lasts 10 minutes. Get you in, get you out, next!!! Why you gotta hate on doctors when they're so many more things that increase our medical costs? Did a doctor do you dirty? Screw you up? Something underlies that anger.
Of course that's purely insane, medical care is very important so its very important that it generate huge profits to encourage people to cure illnesses. I sure hope there is someone out there killing himself to make monopoly profits off of a cure for cancer and hearth disease before I get those diseases. Do you understand?
sure beats earning 25% of that as a average college grad!!
Q: Listen to these Canadians or Brits complain about their health care system!
A: People everywhere are going to bitch about all sorts of stuff all the time, be it bad service, long wait times, anything they can find to complain about, they will.
yes, imagine if auto manufactures didn't have to compete? Yet this is what the liberal imposes upon us in health care. Its insane but that is the state of the liberal mind.
It forced people to buy health care of face a penalty. What it oulawed was cheap catastrophic insurance like I used to buy my grown kids when they were between jobs. That used to run $70-$90 per month. Not offered now.
Healthcare is very different than just any commodity on the free market.
Lamborghinis are on the free market, and still not many people can afford them. Their price is not falling and becoming more accessible just because they are on the free market. So I'm not sure why anyone thinks that a recently diagnosed brain cancer in a 4-year-old, requiring ICU admission, brain surgery, and several courses of chemotherapy and radiation are going to be any more affordable if just left on the free market.
Most people are not going to be outraged if someone cannot afford a Lamborghini. We would just shrug it off. They can take the bus- it'll be fine. But most decent human beings will have a very tough time just shrugging it off if a young child with brain cancer is allowed to die a slow painful death just because he happened to be born to poor parents.
Healthcare is a human right.
No it didn't... it forced people to buy HEALTH INSURANCE... which is a drastically different thingTthing than HEALTHCARE. And frankly.. if Obamacarefail.. can't understand what Obamacare did and did not do.. as Obamacare fail so obviously demonstrates.. he should do more reading.. and less spouting off about something he doesn't know about.
]Wrong, yet again.
It doesn't matter what your debt load is, no one can afford customers that *cost* them money.
The idea that reimbursement is secondary to debt is absurd, you need to be profitable to even be able to consider your debt payments first.
Sure it is. Tell me.. when was the last time you recruited a medical provider to one of your buildings huh? Please tell me where you get your expertise in this matter?t isn't "spouse" lifestyle at all. No one wants to be Q2/3. No one wants to life in Mayberry.
Of course I am... what a load of horsecrap. You are just making stuff up as you go along. The basic fact you are missing, which is amazing even for someone pretending to be a physician on the internet, is that you are not adjusting compensation for production.
Nice try. They merely taxed those who refused 2% of their income. Fortunately President Trump has since managed to get the individual mandate repealed. The employer mandate is next.
Nope.. again.. they never force anyone to buy healthcare. There was no individual mandate to buy healthcare.
When you buy health insurance you are buying health care. It is a distinction without a difference. Under Obama, buy it or pay a penalty. Do you understand now?
No you're buying insurance. Which bring limits exceptions and exclusions.
European healthcare developed from a "Christian" sense of the common good, helping your neighbour who has been less fortunate in health or fortune.
The US has a distinctly Calvinist approach, much more a devil take the hindmost, almost punitive attitude that the poor or unhealthy have somehow earned God's displeasure to be in the state they are, and they deserve no help from wider society.
Fast forwarding through the video:
Q: Why did Obama attack insurance companies and then pass a bill requiring health insurance?
A: Because people are stupid and need a scapegoat, and insurance companies are the only acceptable scapegoat to Democrats.
Q: How is health care a "right?"
A: It isn't "a right," but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have UHC.
Q: Taxes er bad, mkay?
A: Mkay.
Q: UHC means rationing and rationing is bad.
A: No it isn't, "rationing" is a form of ensuring providers aren't getting rich by performing medically unnecessary care. Private insurance companies "ration."
Q: Why does Congress exempt themselves from health care laws?
A: No idea, but it's too insignificant of a policy concern to spend any time thinking about.
Q: Listen to these Canadians or Brits complain about their health care system!
A: People everywhere are going to bitch about all sorts of stuff all the time, be it bad service, long wait times, anything they can find to complain about, they will. Anecdotal whining doesn't inform policy.
The whole video is a series of the most generic, cliche arguments against government. But let's have this libertarian explain how he expects to convince the country to repeal Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP. How do we sell the idea of amenable mortality as a means of cost control to the masses? I'm all ears.
Are you making the rules now on human rights?
Come up with a plan on how to pay for this "human right" and you got me.
