Swedes enjoy world-class healthcare - when they get it

People with money get good and timely care in Europe just like in the states. Also I know you were just trying to low key brag about your social status, but all you really did is high key demonstrate how much of a dbag you are.

I'm the furthest thing from a dbag. I support myself, my children are fine upstanding, outstanding people, my wife is a highly educated caring person, we donate regularly to specific groups...hell, we're great Americans! If every family in America were like us, there would be no problems!

You don't want to be around people with less money because you think they're unworthy or something. Having money and paying taxes doesn't make you not a dbag.

Unfortunately in reality not everybody is going to have money or lots of opportunities. Not everybody is smart enough to get educated. Not everybody is strong enough to fight addiction. The real world is complex, and your simplistic thinking is not useful. Considering the bits you ignore and what you choose to focus on when you respond to me, I can only assume you just want to brag about how much money you claim to have. I'm not really interested in indulging your narcissism further.

I know a thing or two about mental health, and certain red flags are pretty easy to notice if you know what you're looking for. I've got a good hunch that the OP has NPD (narcissistic personality disorder). They self-aggrandize and mold conversations in a way that allows them to brag because they need what's referred to as narcissistic supply. Narcissists underneath it all tend to actually hate themselves. That's why they try to convince themselves and the world that they are amazing. It makes them feel valuable. They're very insecure people.

A family of 4 pays $14,000/year premium + 5,000 +/- deduction for Ocare. That's not exactly cheap.

One has to wonder how many $20000 years the average family can pay before going broke.

One also has to wonder how long the country can pony up the subsidies before it goes broke.

Sweden of course is different. Half your pay goes to free stuff.

How about you provide evidence for that? I don't think you understand how single-payer works in most countries, care is done on a needs basis, not first-come-first-serve.
