A large medication recall has expanded again - now to a global scale.

Valsartan, a prescription medication commonly used to treat blood pressure issues and heart failure, is now under a worldwide recall.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says the drug contains a cancer causing chemical called N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA). This chemical is toxic to the liver and other organs.

"The presence of NDMA was unexpected and is thought to be related to changes in the way the active substance was manufactured," the FDA said.

HEADS UP!

Yep, 2 months ago my Doc said my BP was a little high, prescribed that to me. I'm not on any other medications and hate taking pills but I do as my doc says.

One month into taking them I see this recall. Called my pharmacist who told me I was okay to keep taking them. She then called me back a week later stating to stop taking them and bring them in and that she's calling my doctor to request they change me to something else.

If I get liver cancer I blame her.

My oldest daughter took two drugs from this family and had two seizures.

I see a class action suit in the future.

Of course you will. And yet you stand by Trump who is happy to weaken FDA enforcement and oversight any way he can. Sure, let's flood the market with less tested drugs - it's good for pharma business, creates jobs and all. What could go wrong?

Excuse me, what?

Since when do I stand by Trump?

Since when do I stand by Trump?

My apologies if you don't. I thought I saw a bunch of posts from you implying your support for Trump. Sounds like I was wrong.

Thanks, government regulatory bodies, for catching this so quickly.

Another point against libertarianism.
