Individuals’ Catastrophic Medical costs.

Actually I know the data and what the data means. You believe what you want despite the honest debate and facts that I have supplied. For example that Canadian government healthcare.. does not pay for pharma. Did you know that before you spout off about other countries?

Did you know that the US has a better cancer survival rate than Britain? And why? Because we test more, we test earlier, we have drugs available for folks that in Britain were not approved because of expense.

Did you know that the US has worse demographics when it comes to obesity? Sedentary lifestyles, stress? Which are all things that increase medical costs?

How about the fact that education of physicians is captured by the medical system where in other countries its not calculated in medical cost but in public education?

Have you ever thought about what happens to the economy when you hurt an industry that provides 1/3 of our gdp?

Nope.. I know you did not know or even think about any of that before you determined that single payer would be great.

I am not the one that "wants what I believe to be true"... I am the one that has the facts.

It's the best system in the world. Yet another thing that a socialist leftie started that took a crap on the American people...healthcare being part of your benefits package! Most lefties are too ignorant or lazy to look at the genesis of the programs that are troublesome.

The caveat is whether you have insurance or not. If you don't have insurance in this country..its not the best system in the world.

The problem isn't just with lefties.. its with righties as well that are too lazy or ignorant to realize that there are serious issues with healthcare and healthcare insurance in this nation.

Even if you do have insurance it's not the best system. It's horrifically expensive compared to the rest of the world.

For a number of reasons.. that's unrelated to the type of system,.... many countries with the same type of system "single payer".. have much different costs despite having similar systems.

If you have insurance in this country.. in general.. its better than the government insurance in most countries.

Proper care? The boy was suffering from an extremely rare and terminal genetic disease that has no cure. The poor boy was deaf, blind, completely paralyzed, had regular seizures, and required life support to breathe. The only ethical and humane option was to end his suffering at the hands of selfish parents. Shame on those who offer false hope for profit.

On a side note when Michelle Obama was at her "job" at a Chicago hospital she helped David Axlerod deny care to indigent persons in order to have more beds available for persons who could pay. I put job in quotes because her function was so vital the position, created by Valerie Jarret, was not filled after she left.

The left keeps arguing that insurance costs will raise under Trump while ignoring that each year Obamacare was in effect both premiums and deductibles rose every year.

DLLS, the case that you're referring to was subject to England's law's regarding medical treatment. In England, just as in the united states, patients may seek medical treatment, and doctors may accept and treat patients outside of government health plans or what is permitted to be done to a child. Englands laws obviously did not consider what was proposed as to be "proper" treatment of a child. Just as in the United States, doctors hospitals and government law enforcement agencies elsewhere are required to comply to their government's laws.
In the USA, there are procedures that cannot be practiced, and medications that cannot be prescribed. So it is in England and I would suppose in all, (or almost all) nations.

Yes, regarding Canadians being operated upon in the USA, what about it?

Regarding your post's allegations against Michelle Obama and David Axlerod, there's some actual proof of what you accuse them of doing? Is your accusation false, similar to President Donald Trumps accusation that Michelle's husband, President Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii?

You're correct, medical costs Within President Hoover's administration declined during his term of office, but they have increased for every president since then.
