Right to Try bill passes House

No. It was a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. I don't recall which one. Merely to resolve your animosity and meager attempt to discredit me gives me no cause to review my wife's medical records. I don't want that pain back in my life. You have earned no right to make that demand.

Live with your paranoia. Others now have the choice to live without your paranoia.

Odd.

You can’t remember the name, but CAN remember it gave a 61% survival benefit.

Not 60%.

Not three fifths.

61%.

Why does that bother you? Human memory is always selective.

Not being Christian, not being Catholic, I never studied Latin.

Getting a bit desperate are you?

I can remember multiple specific incidents from before I was age 3, something modern science claims is unlikely. Yet I cannot recall what I wore yesterday morning as I walked the dog, or who we encountered along the way. Now you can tell me I'm wrong because you are also a memory expert.

No, actually I’m a drug expert.

And I know that a compassionate use request for a drug for leukemia in late stage trials- or actually sitting at the FDA with a full submission already- would almost never be denied.

The FDA certainly wouldn’t deny it- it approves 99% of compassionate use requests, and if it’s 4weeks away from approval, they already know it’s going to be approved and it’s safe and effective.

The company would also rarely deny a request like that- drug supply has already been ramped up for commercial use, there’s little competition from supply needed for trials because they are mostly done and during the submission there’s a ‘blackout’ on new trials as a general rule.

So either someone incompetent did the compassionate use request, or you’re lying.

Given your posting history, the latter is overwhelmingly likely.

At this point in time, this is an empty, specious argument. Neither this bill, nor any argument has anything to do with diminishing supervision of pharmacological experimentation and quality of pharmacological products. This is about fast tracking pharmocological products that appear promising, experimenting with consent, upon those with no other hope for continuation of life. Hyperventilating and hyperbolic discourse will help no one.

.

Sir.. you just said.. "fast tracking pharmacological products that appear promising".. right there is an admission that there will be diminished supervision of pharmacological experimentation and quality of pharmacological products.

the rest of your post is just mere bunk. and has nothing to do with what I posted. Heck.. "aspirin, nettle teas and honey and other products"/... never did I mention any of those as snake oil.
However.. aspirin? Aspirin can increase your risk of death. More than 3000 deaths per year are attributed to taking aspirin. Not that its snake oil.. but its an example of medication that is dangerous.

As was opium that was given to children for teething and "cholic". Cocaine used to treat tooth pain. Strychnine for impotence. Sanitized tape worms for weight loss. etc.
