the south gets it wrong again

It shouldn't be a surprise that a far left progressive organization like the Commonwealth Fund would create a report like that cited by the Obamacare shill Noam N. Levey.

Missing are salient points regarding affordability of coverage for all, the collapse of exchanges in many markets, and the escalating costs of insurance for those who must subsidize those who can't afford it.

No kidding. If the political left believes the ACA is an improvement, I'd hate to see what failure looks like.

My parents live in the south. Their insurance went up 180% under Obamacare and their coverage got worse.

Did they get their insurance through the marketplace?

they didnt make anything free, more right wing anti facts

This is not a true statement. Millions of Americans get free healthcare paid for off the backs of the working middle class. Many working cannot now afford the rising premium s and deductibles! Obamacare is imploding. You failed.

a bunch of made up right wing falsehoods. your sentences are contradictory. your comments are foolish

60% on ACA have a premium of under $100.00. The average premium is $82.00

lulz premiums. Their healthcare will only be "affordable" for them if they don't - you know - actually use it. If they have to use it then they won't be able to pay for it (hey-o deductible). If they don't have to use it, they are still worse off for having to pay for something they didn't end up needing.

An odd situation to find themselves in, eh?

About 2 seconds on Google.. $328: Average Monthly Health Insurance Cost Under the Affordable Care Act | NBC4 Washington

$328: Average Monthly Health Insurance Cost Under the Affordable Care Act

Premiums are the easy part of this. You are leaving out the deductibles that these inexpensive plans have. I work in health care, we provide care to patients with these great plans. To say that they are surprised when we have to tell them that Insurance will not pay until they reach their 10K or higher out of pocket costs is a understatement.

The ACA is a joke. But Pelosi was correct, the Bill had to be passed before we could find out what was in it. And it is full of crap.

you should know better than to make your foolishness up

I know you do not have to believe 1 bit of anything anyone says on this board. Conversely, no one has to believe anything you say either.

I will tell you that I work in a specialized medical business. We take care of patients state (KS) wide. Now, I know that with your response, you have no daily interaction with health insurance and or patients. I am pretty sure that a lot of other posters have noticed this also. When you work in a medical practice, or act as a benefit manager, then you will at least be a little bit more knowledgeable about what you spout off about. In the mean time, keep plugging.

This is consistent with what the CDC has found.

This is the challenge the repeal crowd has to deal with and it's why in practice the ACA isn't going anywhere for quite some time.

Proponents of the ACA lied and lied to get it passed. They lied and lied about how it was doing. They lied and lied about what it is costing, and now they lie about how many people it's helping.

Ninety-five percent of the poor people in the US were covered by a county or city health care system even if they didn't have Medicaid. Now a lot of these people have Medicaid and their situation hasn't changed, they are still getting their care from the county or city.

Sorry but there's nothing about what I've said that comes out of any conspiracy theory. That supporters of the ACA have lied all along is established fact. Lie to get it passed: "You can keep your doctor", "You can keep your health plan", etc. Lie about how it was doing: "Obamacare is doing better than expected" (NYTimes), Lie about how many people it's helping: Yes, they lied about that, too.

the facts show the ACA is successful so yes when the facts are lied about it is just more right wing anti truth.

No matter. The ACA isn't really helping that many people, and insurance companies have dropped out of it one after another, so the constituency that's supposed to rise up and protest its end won't materialize like you think it will. That's the way I see it. We'll see who is right soon enough.
