Best revolver in your opinion. 1950 to date.

I got a few the mag wheels. Hard to justify the increased price per round when all I'm killing is time, but the extra pop is an attention getter when everyone else using regular LR.

It works better for varmints. but yes we do use the 22Lr most of the time, far cheaper.

I dunno, I have my dad's Python and Trooper MK III. Both are damn fine firearms. Both are 70-something models

There's nothing wrong with Colt.... just like there's nothing wrong with Harley Davidson. I just think they're overrated. You're paying for the name. Manufacturers like S&W and Ruger make better-quality revolvers and they charge less for them - that's all I'm saying.

I wouldn't say better quality, but definitely equal quality.

Don't mistake me for an elitest, I own four 1911's and not one of them is a Colt and they all shoot just fine.

Again, though, there's nothing wrong with the 1911... but if I were looking for a .45 ACP handgun, I'd go with a CZ 97B. More steak, less sizzle. But each to his own, right?

My carry piece is a CZ 75B. I love CZ's

Please refer to the section title. This is the GUN CONTROL forum.

You definitely need to petition the mods to create a "gun forum", then.

No, you do.

We already have a gun control section. Petition for a section to discuss your favorite guns....maybe best recipe for hot wings too.

I have a small frame early EAA Witness which is nearly a clone. I have a large frame Witness in .45 ACP but it's not quite the same thing.

I don't, because I don't give a ****.

I can't help but notice Rich had no problem whatsoever talking about the Webley, but when calamity came in and started to rain on the gun parade, he decided to follow his example.

He pushed the Webley to be difficult. As is his norm.

He isn't getting a lot of loving there so he is trying a new trolling tactic.

Revolvers please.

Im not the one that brought it up. You afraid to say something to anyone else? Probably shoulda just left it alone. Whatcha think?

*L* Fair enough... can't help but notice you haven't given us your pick, though, Fleder.

I like to throw a question out and hear what others say.

Alas I let the rabbit out of the hat early. Post #7.

S&W 586 (Pachmayr grips).

Anything under 6 inches is a Derringer ;)
