Another "good guy" with a gun strikes again. This time in Fla.

3 Dead, Including 11-Year-Old Girl Who Called for Help, After Dispute Over Dog Turns Deadly | PEOPLE.com

A Florida father and his 11-year-old daughter are dead after their neighbor, whose dog was deemed dangerous in court, went into their home and fatally shot them.

...

"If you heard this call come over the radio, it would make the hair on your neck stand... A little girl calls in saying, 'There's someone shooting in our house. I think my parents are dead. I think my family is dead,’" St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara said, KMOV reports.

...

"They all came home from court and then the suspect armed himself and went to the victim's house," Mascara said at a news conference, according to WPTV.

Jesus freaking Christ!

That is just shocking

The RW will probably says it's an advertisement for the need of every household to have a gun.

I can barely believe it.

Oh yeah...more "good guys" with guns. That's the answer.

Idiots.

Another sad indictment of the second amendment.

82 year old "good guy" with gun shoots innocent 11 year old girl because his dog attacked a woman back in March. Think about that for a minute.

Shooting and killing a 11 year old girl. What a badass.

Then of course he took the coward's way out and probably shot himself to avoid any punishment.

I think in these situations the proper thing to do is cut his penis off and shove it in his mouth.

And, here we go...

Has anyone called him a "good guy"? This would be appalling no matter how he chose to kill these two innocent people. This guy obviously had some serious issues. I'm sure this incident with the dog was just the final straw to pushing him over. Tragic.

My question to you is would you have even bothered to start a thread on this if he hadn't used a gun?

Not in the gun control sub-forum.

Dog at center of Port St. Lucie double homicide euthanized

Neighbors said both these families would sometimes shout at each other for hours. Their feud had been going on since March when the complaint was filed against DelSerro, the owner of the dog. Monday the courts declared his dog, Roxie "dangerous". Looks like DelSerro flipped his lid over the ruling.

I'll keep an eye out then as there are daily tragedies you could post and talk about in any number of forums if you were so inclined.

Legal gun owner = "good guy"

If he wasn't, why he have a gun?

Democrats silent regarding illegal gun owners in intercities that kill children every weekend.
Why are killings in the intercity not a hot topic with democrats. Afraid to be called racist?

One officer was injured during the shooting and has been released from the hospital. A homicide investigation is ongoing.

I am interested in this and how it plays into the story. Did someone shoot the cop? We're police on scene as some of the shooting was happening? This was tossed in at the end almost a throw away line. Poor job reporting by People.

I also wonder if the shooter legally owned the weapon or not.

Lee Harvey Oswald was a good guy?

Seems, the country had sense back then, since they enacted a law disallowing gun purchases by mail order after that tragedy. These days, even after 26 little kids get blown away by another "good guy" with a gun, the Gun Nutters hold the line on their pea shooter rights.

The article says cops responded, the old guy shot at them. Maybe that's when the cop got winged.

"I believe this to be an intentional act of violence against these neighbors," said Port St. Lucie Assistant Police Chief Richard DelToro on Monday.

I can't belief he said something that unbelievable obvious.

Is that a yes?

Thank you I must of missed that. Damn Stars pop up kept getting me.

People are far more dangerous than dogs could ever be.
