1. Did you see their contracts? If not; You do not know that.
2. Irrelevant to them being trespassers and causing alarm in the residents .

WTF are you talking about "see their contracts"... Good lord... It absolutely IS RELEVANT in a legal context...

No it's not really a good look but neither is breaking down a gate and treaspassing while allegedly threating to damage peoples property.

Mark McCloskey, 63, told a TV station that he and wife, Patricia, both personal injury lawyers, were facing an “angry mob” on their private street and feared for their lives Sunday night.

Mark McCloskey told KMOV-TV that a mob rushed toward the home as the family was having dinner and “put us in fear of our lives.”

“This is all private property. There are no public sidewalks or public streets. We were told that we would be killed, our home burned and our dog killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob,” McCloskey said.

Their home, which was featured in the local St. Louis Magazine after undergoing a renovation, is appraised at $1.15 million.

Telephone numbers for the McCloskeys were busy or rang unanswered Monday morning.

White St. Louis couple point guns at protesters heading past their home to mayor’s house - Chicago Tribune

Personal injury attorneys? I hate lawyers.

The protesters were marching towards the mayor's house.

What makes me laugh is the demonstrators ignore the two even though they are waving guns around.

there is information floating around the net that the man is a registered Democrat who has donated to first Bernie's campaign and then to Biden's

Are you saying you do not understand the point being made?
If you have not seen their contracts with Portland Place, you do not know. For all you know the residents all jointly own the common areas.

:lamo
Way to confuse the issue.
It would not matter if they owned the property the trespassers were on or not. They were not defending their selves from that trespass, but were instead preventing them from trespassing on their property.
And regardless of that specific, the protesters were still trespassing. FFS they broke through the gates. Of course this would cause alarm in any resident there.

LMAO.. How exactly do you think a homeowners association works? They all have joint ownership and entrust TRUSTEES to represent the rights of the association.

The TRUSTEES are the only members of the association who have the right to express the rights of the association, not individual members.

The TRUSTEES and their delegates, typically private security companies, are the only parties who could prosecute for trespassing on HOA owned property, not individual members of the association.

All you are doing is confirming that you do not know.

Who prosecutes for trespass is irrelevant to anything I said.
It is still trespass regardless of who trespasses them.

Breaking through gates of an enclosed property makes it pretty clear to anyone they knew.

569.140. Trespass in the first degree

another source is saying this prominent PI attorney is a Republican donor. I guess we will see.

Turtle, are you pulling a Rich and starting to reply to your own posts?

I was on FB when someone I knew said that this personal injury attorney is a big dem donor. There is information he gave some money to a local Democrat and he supports BLM, but then my son, who also was on FB sent me a link saying the claim about the man was bogus-and while he did contribute 250 or so to a local democrat, he is not a registered Democrat and may have given Trump groups money. SO I wanted to correct my earlier post

One of the articles claimed they supported BLM, and then there is this.

my son claimed that came from a guy by the same name in Michigan.
Who knows-I didn't spend any time researching the couple. The wife needs some trigger discipline training though.

I suspect prominent PI attorneys everywhere are going to say they support BLM-to some extent.

The few I have know will say whatever they think needs to be heard to help their case.

‘The Black Lives Matters movement is here to stay, it is the right message, and it is about time,’ said Albert S. Watkins, legal counsel for Mr. and Mrs. McCloskey. ‘The McCloskeys want to make sure no one thinks less of BLM, its message and the means it is employing to get its message out because of the actions of a few white individuals who tarnished a peaceful protest.’”

Ah, ... no.

that oozes PC.

=Superfly;1072168209]Can't wait to see what the ammosexuals have to say about this.

Always someone with the term "ammo sexuals". What I say is, what the hell is it with that?
Private property, blah, blah, gun ownership rights, blah blah, shouldn't have been around.

Private property NO TRESPASSING. So what does a mob do? Tear a gate down and trespass.

They were on the sidewalk. Does she bring out her gun when someone takes an evening stroll on the sidewalk? Maybe when someone walks the dog?

Considering a gated community (not a fan of)and how the mob got in.

I'll bet the mail carrier is terrified.

I'll bet the mail carrier has a legitimate reason being their.

Oh wait --

At least the guy had his finger off the trigger. The wife had no idea how to handle a firearm. Probably a Libtard that bought one to keep up with her bridge club.

=Rexedgar;1072168286]Did the woman even have a firearm?
Yeah. The way she had a hold of it it probably wouldn't have cycled the next round. Big fat finger on the trigger too.:(

One of the other videos identifies the homeowners as lawyers
.....

Yeah lots of money to take some firearm classes with.

And I can make fun of her for it. Seriously, look at this.

XVmaY8G.png

Terrible trigger discipline. The way she is holding it, there is no way to control her aim (and she not even attempting to aim), she is not looking where she is pointing.

I doubt if it would cycle the next round in.

Another stupid reply by you.

You are going around in circles while demanding someone else advance the discussion. :doh

It has already been established that it was private.
You then confirmed that someoen else covered for me.

It is on you to accept it was private and go forward.

Please cite relevant laws or ordinances.

It is pretty sad that anybody would argue that these folks were in the wrong.
Just as sad to ignore a pissed off woman waiving a pistol around (finger on the trigger) and pointing it directly at unarmed protestors standing on the sidewalk, off of the McCloskeys property. The entire neighborhood is private property, not McCloskey’s private property though.

if they help pay for maintenance of the street, you might be wrong. One thing is for sure-if it is a private street, then the protestors shouldn't be on the property
