Of course rape is ILLEGAL
But it's not prohibited by the Constitution, which utterly refutes your ridiculous claim that:
Also can a citizen who's a Muslim perform an "honor killing" on an unmarried daughter whose pregnancy brings shame on his house
A great many things are not prohibited by your Constitution
A Muslim may take many wives in his religion, the Constitution doesn't prohibit this, so is polygamy allowed in the USA ???
A state cannot pass a law that violates any part of the Constitution, including the first and second amendments
Do you really doubt this ?
Do you really need examples of the Supreme Court striking down state laws because they were "unconstitutional" ?
You really don't have a clue do you ?
So why are rape, honor killings and polygamy illegal ?
The government could make gun ownership illegal were it not for the 2nd amendment
No lives are "ended" by abortion
About 40,000 lives are ended by guns each year in the USA (and yes, I know that includes suicides)
On the assumption that this is a serious question, abortion doesn't "end" any lives
Something isn't alive if it can't think, the difference between an animal and a plant
So being "alive" can't occur until the brain it formed in the fetus.
ie: a newly fertilized egg might be said to constitute "life" but cannot be said to be "alive".
The constitution is not the full body of Law in the US. The Constitution is the instrument by which the Federal Government is defined and limited.
The body of law comprising precedent is actually much more binding on the actions of people. The Constitution is what it is. It is not what you think it is.
Murder is a crime. It is illegal in every state that I'm aware of and is a Federal Crime in many cases. Religious motivation may change the degree. I don't know.
Do you know what the Supremacy Clause is?
When a baby is not yet born and that baby is killed AGINST THE WISHES of the mother, that is considered to be murder. Your definition of life is thereby destroyed.
As far as I know, nobody has been successfully prosecuted for murder or even cruelty when killing a plant.
