MESQUITE, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Mesquite Police are investigating a deadly shooting in which a suspected armed robber was the one killed.
Police said around 1:35 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a shooting call in the 2600 block of John West Road; That’s when they came across the injured person who had called police. He said he had been the victim of a robbery by three people he did not know. He was shot and shot back at one of the suspects, killing the suspect, police said. The deceased suspect has been identified and police said next of kin were being notified.

That dude clanks when he walks....notice his first action is to drop the mag and make sure no round is chambered on the recovered weapon.

"FRESNO, Calif - Two people are dead after a shooting at a central Fresno gas station on Friday morning, police say.
Fresno police officers were called to the Arco station on Olive and Parkway Avenues near Highway 99 around 3:15 am.
Officers found two men dead outside of a car, and a woman with a gunshot wound. She had gone into the gas station to look for help.
The woman was taken to the hospital with what police believe was a non-life-threatening injury...."

As good as the video is, his actions following those in the video were what really caught my attention.

And the best part? No injuries or weapons discharged! :thumbs:

It certainly would have felt good and I would have laughed to see nits but I think that Marine showed fantastic restraint and his method of handling that couldn't have been more perfect. He effectively disarmed the guy, and descalated the situation.

Video presented really ticked me off. not because of what the Marine did I have fought him for number one first and foremost his restraint number two very close second his ability to neutralize somebody.

But the newscaster watching a mam taking a firearm from a masked individual, dropping the magazine and clearing the chamber did not hurt the antifa kid, and did not escalate the situation, in spite of all that the newscaster says he was an intimidating individual.

These people should be held accountable for their lies. I really think the partially did blame for the riots.

I have said it before....the media is gonna do what the media does best; present a story in a light that furthers their own agenda and narrative regardless of any validity or relationship with the actual truth.

I honestly think it's about ratings. The mainstream media is dying they're being destroyed by a few high school graduates with cameras.

Of course; everyone is more concerned about "hits" online than they are about the reality of life....makes me ill that we see more and more people taking videos on their phone of tragic events or people dying to post on youtube, or thier own video channel rather than actually attempting to help or call 911.

Well most of the media occurs online these days and there's so many more options so it's not really people taking cell phone videos for hits It's actual journalism while the news media is busy trying to sell pharmaceutical drugs and Chevrolets the internet media can focus on the story.

Most of online media is not just raw footage in fact there's quite a few journalists online that don't even take raw footage.

So as I agreed the idea of filming something where someone's in imminent danger and you can do something is rather sick, I'm not sure that happens all too often.

If America doesn't trust its police, then it's sunk to the bottom of the list of developed countries.
What other country uses the army to control the people - China perhaps. Hong Kong ring any bells

The day Trump orders the army on to the streets, is the day he needs to be arrested for treason

You really don't see the dangers of the military patrolling our streets - that's something dictators and tin pot republics do.

I see more danger in someone who steals an AR-15 from a police car. He was not acting in any official military capacity - he just used his training and skills to take away a stolen gun from a moron and render it safe. Get over it.

Which is probably why it was left in the police car. They definitely do not belong in the hands of thieves, thus it was taken away from one.
