Why are some blacks, but not all blacks cited as African Americans? Would Charlize Theron or Elon Musk qualify? What about those of Arab ethnicity? Egypt and Tunisia as examples.
You claimed African Americans “did not speak out against gang violence”

I provided dozens of examples showing that your claim was—- and is— utterly false.

    Such as ?

for most uses -the FN-FAL was a superior weapon than the M14. Where the M14 shined was long range use against static targets. M14s were brought out of storage for use in the Gulf conflicts for use against longer range targets. Such targets were almost non-existent in Vietnam. Heavy battle rifles are not the most appropriate weapons for general infantry use.
The M-14 was about 9.2 lb empty compared with 9.6 lb for the FN-FAL 50.0. So it wasn't really heavy compared to other battle rifles.

The M-14 found a niche as a sniper rifle, a role I'm not sure it was intended for actually, though I could be wrong on this.
