[W:446]Women Being Involved In The Gun Debate

Reallym because that's the case for a gun ban in a nut shell.

Would you suggest:

1. Just letting the situation continue and bearing the cost

2. People buying more guns

Nope to both, try thinking harder, try focusing on the real issue.

Re: Women Being Involved In The Gun Debate

It takes two to tango.

It takes a man to make a baby. Doesn't that qualify us for the abortion debate?

40,000 gun deaths (including 10,000 homicides) and 70,000+ gun related injuries aren't an issue ?

What issue could possibly be worth considering more ?

You're still thinking inside the box of guns guns guns, you, as usual, ignore that guns are simply tools that require an operator. But that is par for the course with you. Too bad you seem intelligent, yet prove you are driven by agenda instead of common sense. Not much I or anyone else can change that is there?

The same can be said of a bag of uncut heroin

Is the catalog of US gun related death and injury an issue or not

Do you see it as a problem ?

If so, what more important issue do you see ?

Not my thing ..

Yes, clues; criminals which you always ignore and the swept under the rug mental health issue this Nation has. Would you need more,...how about we actually enforce the laws on the books. You "solution" solves Nothing, you probably know that, yet you persist in taking our rights away, you are my enemy because you have zero clue what Nation was built upon, it is call Freedom, I doubt you and I will ever understand that word in the same way. The good news is you will never fulfill your agenda, must suck for you, Good.

Not my thing...

Nor me, but a bag of uncut heroin is about as dangerous as a loaded gun - without human interaction

Yes, clues; criminals which you always ignore and the swept under the rug mental health issue this Nation has....

Why?
US prisons are full of mental health patients

...how about we actually enforce the laws on the books....

Which laws would those be ?

...your "solution" solves Nothing, you probably know that, yet you persist in taking our rights away....

What right would those be ?

...you are my enemy because you have zero clue what Nation was built upon, it is call Freedom...

No, the USA was hardly built on freedom.
The presence of slavery disproves that myth

The USA only granted suffrage the white males owning property...

"1789: The Constitution grants the states the power to set voting requirements. Generally, states limited this right to property-owning or tax-paying white males (about 6% of the population). ... 1870: Non-white men and freed male slaves are guaranteed the right to vote by the Fifteenth Amendment."

Voting rights in the United States - Wikipedia

Let that sink in....SIX PERCENT of the population had the "right" to vote

So don't talk about "freedom" The Revolutionary War was about $$$ - specifically the middle class saw a way of making money money.

...I doubt you and I will ever understand that word in the same way....

Clearly you have a mis-apprehension that American were "free"
American have little "freedom" today - BUT they can buy a gun. With all the carnage that entails.
