I take it you see no problem with leftist democrats like Carl Rowan and Dianne Feinstein advocating for government seizure of all guns from Americans except for their own guns they need in order to protect their own back yards from unauthorized party-goers?

Bad example for two reasons.

1. You haven't indicated whether or not you're a woman, as I said this only applies to women.
2. This issue is about guns and gun control, not car and traffic control.

Though I'd follow the British example with muzzle loaders, bolt action firearms and shotguns holding no more than 3 shell.

Most rapes are someone the woman knows, not a random encounter with a weapon.

The she probably doesn't have immediate access to a gun


There is a British rapist called Peter Sutcliffe (AKA, the Yorkshire Ripper). He preyed mostly on prostitutes, his favored method was to hit women on the head with a hammer first...not much use of a gun there.

I imagine the woman gets raped without being shot or MACE'd first.

And the rapist just uses his fists.


Bottom line is, that if you let a woman have a gun, you also let the rapist have one.

Six unarmed teachers lost their lives at Sandy Hook because none of them were armed for self-defense.

Ummm, no. It is illegal for felons to get guns. Rape is a felony. So allowing a woman who is not a felon access to guns is not the same as allowing rapists access to guns.

In your opinion

In my opinion they lost their lives because America's gun laws allow almost everyone to have as many guns as they want....and gun owners can see them taken by family members and used agaist them.

PLUS the statistical likelihood of her or a family member being hurt by it.



It is illegal for felons to get guns. Rape is a felony.

Plus, with the size of sentences handed to convicted rapists, I'm not sure any rapist out there is a felon yet.


ie: I don't think many released rapists rape again.

No its an excellent example. A woman can use a gun to stop a man from raping her. As for a man using a gun to rape a woman, most men wouldn't need a gun to rape a woman what part don't you understand?

A rapist has the initiative though...and any law granting her the right to a gun, give the rapist one too.

The fact that maybe 200 million people have access to guns is not responsible for the fact that those ladies did not have guns with which to protect themselves.
