The owner of a used auto parts store shot one of two burglary suspects he caught breaking into his business early Monday morning, police say.
The man was at the S&T Auto Body Services shop on Cinnamon Drive near the Katy Freeway when he spotted the break-in, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. At some point during the burglary, the owner pulled a gun and shot at the suspects, striking one of them

MODESTO (CBS13) — The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office said there was a fatal shooting outside a popular poker room in Modesto that’s not known for violence.
The shooting happened in the parking lot of the Empire Sportsmen’s Club, near McHenry and Kiernan Avenues. Deputies have identified the man as Alexander Wever of Ripon.
This started with a man who crashed his car, then reportedly jumped out of the car with a baseball bat. Deputies say he started a fight, prompting the on-scene security staff to fire that fatal shot.

Deputies determined early after the incident that there was no danger to the public.

The identities of the victims are protected under the Florida statute known as Marsy’s Law, according to the Sheriff's office."

"Waterloo police have released the names of two women who were killed in on Monday night.

Officers found Tamica Takeisha Allison, 42 and Andrea Rochelle Anderson, 41, dead from what appeared to be gunshot wounds when they arrived at 1112 W. 2nd Street on a report of a suspicious incident.

An autopsy for the two victims will be scheduled at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny.

Based on the investigation Waterloo Police have obtained warrants for two counts of 1st degree Murder for 36-year-old Mathew Dee Buford III.

Buford is still at large and the Waterloo Police are asking for the public’s help in locating him. Buford should be considered armed and dangerous. He may also possibly be suicidal."

Guns are neither good or bad. They are simply tools made of medal, wood and plastic. What is good or bad are the intentions of the person who decides to use the tool.

This is so funny BUM. I live just South of the Marion County line and about 25 mile outside of Salem...Oregon.

I often get thrown over how many towns/cities share the same names.....Washington, Springfield, and Franklin lead the list as the most common names.

Everything has consequences of some sort. Should have I turned left instead of right should of I turned at all.
Should of I left 1-5 minutes later or sooner. This one the consequences favored me. More than once.

Would you prefer a machete death or what about setting the kid on fire to kill him? I would prefer to be shot if I had a choice. Most murder suicides are going to happen no matter what. Your anti gun argument is feckless.

Strange then, as that's the rationale of every country that's ever banned guns.
