Thailand Shooting Spree

No you can't, that's called resisting arrest - which is what he will claim

If you lay a hand on an officer on duty, you are breaking the law. It's crazy but it's true.
(in the UK, it's illegal to obstruct an officer performing his/her duties, so you can argue if they are acting illegally, they are not performing their duties)
Not so in the USA
No, as I said if he is trying to do something such as rape and/or murder you, you can use any means to stop him up to and including deadly force. It will definitely go to court but if its been found that that's the case, that you were defending yourself from a corrupt officer who was trying to do such stuff to you, it will be justified. I've taken law classes and this is a specific topic my professor addressed. I've got an education my friend, unlike people who are against gun rights.

I didn't say that

I said British citizens are well armed and US citizens are badly armed

That is in my opinion of course.
So you think the British are better armed than the US citizens? That's silly.

No, as I said if he is trying to do something such as rape and/or murder you, you can use any means to stop him up to and including deadly force....

That's called obstruction, and you'll be arrested for it

A private citizen does not have the power to use force on a police officer on duty.

So if a cop puts your mother in a choke hold, you cannot stop him/her without breaking the law...if they put you in a choke hold and you resist, you are breaking the law

So you think the British are better armed than the US citizens? That's silly.

IMO they are.

An armed British citizen will (typically) have no more than a double barreled shotgun...that is much better than what a typical US citizen might have IMO.
