A big “thank you” to a good Samaritan who helped save the lives of four people.
Police say a man chased four people after he yelled at them at Rusty’s Bar Thursday night.
The fight ended with a car crash and that good Samaritan opened fire.
Investigators say 53-year-old Henry Lesinak, Jr. started it all and now faces several charges.
We spoke with two of those people who ran for help: a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law on vacation, only in Cape Coral for one night.
They’re calling the man who saved them a hero.

The other suspects in the case were still at large as of Saturday afternoon. A young man was shot and killed during an apparent attempted robbery Friday night, Dallas police said.
He was allegedly shot by another man who is a licensed handgun carrier, according to police.
The shooting happened just before midnight on the 3400 block of Chicago Street in West Dallas.
Witnesses told police they were having a cookout on a home's front patio when three men approached them, coming into the front yard. Two of the three men had handguns, police said, and "demanded property."
That's when the licensed handgun carrier allegedly pulled out his weapon and shot one of the three men, according to police.

The shooting took place at Mac's Lounge in Hartsville, Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee told news outlets.

The conditions of those injured weren't immediately clear. No further details, including what led to the shooting, were immediately released. More information will be released later Sunday, he said..."

It is its way of trying to deny the fact that defensive gun use is valid, regardless of the criminal gun use.

The OP tried to justify gun use and therefore ownership.


My response was that there's just as many and probably more cases of criminal use of guns.

So what ?

A gun ban in order to reduce the annual carnage, caused by the guns in society, will sadly disarm those who will never commit a gun related crime as well as the ones who will.


Are you aware of a way we can tell which is which BEFORE the crime is committed ?

Gun control would unfortunately seek to remove guns from gun owners who would never commit a crime with them, for the greater goal of removing a "cancer like" menace from society.
