FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man who tried to rob someone at a Fayetteville Burger King was shot by his intended victim Monday morning, according to police.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the restaurant on Bragg Boulevard around 9:43. Their investigation revealed the man attempted to rob someone when the would-be victim pulled out a gun, firing several shots and hitting the man once.

GOLDEN GATE ESTATES, Fla. — The man who confessed to shooting a man in Golden Gate Estates during a road rage incident will not be charged, according to the State Attorney's Office.
The shooting killed 24-year-old David Norgard on March 1, 2019, near the intersection of 16th Avenue Southwest and 23rd Street Southwest.
The State Attorney's Office found the shooting was justified based on the stand-your-ground law

BALDWIN BOROUGH, Pa. — A man shot and killed an armed man who tried to rob him Sunday night at his apartment in Baldwin Borough, investigators said.
Police were called shortly after 7 p.m. for a home invasion at the apartment on Rosewood Court.

Officers who responded to the scene determined the 25-year-old man who lives in the apartment shot the intruder, a 22-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 25-year-old’s fiance and 10-month-old child were also home at the time. None of them were hurt, police said.
Investigators learned the 22-year-old man, identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office as Joshua Long, of West Mifflin, had a handgun when he went to the apartment and tried to rob the victim. The victim then got his handgun and shot Long.

Jacksonville police say a burglary suspect was wounded during an exchange of gunfire with a Westside homeowner Saturday night.
Police were en route to a report of a burglary in the 7100 block of Ricker Road when the call was upgraded to a shooting about 9 p.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
The Sheriff’s Office said investigation showed the homeowner exchanged gunfire with an intruder — a man who then fled in a white compact pickup truck. A short time later, police found the potential suspect at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office
