you demonstrate how little you know about this subject. Top civilian shooters are often involved in training the army's shooters. When the USAMU decided to create a "practical pistol team" (Mix Michel being their top shooter) AMU Action Shooting Team | goarmy.com

they had some of the top civilian competitors work with them because all the world champions the US had, such as Robbie Leathem were civilians.

Anywhere money is involved, there could be muggers lurking. Maybe that comes into play....area of expertise, and all of that.

I never claimed they're banning all guns. If you're going to mess around with stupid word games, at least you ought to learn to read first.

they try to pretend that if the dems only want to ban say the most popular rifle in America, (and by extension) another rifle that the federal government sold to civilians by the boatloads, then democrats really aren't gun banners.

Indeed, as long as we can still keep our muskets (but only if we already have them, that is), they're not "coming for our guns."

That's like saying I am going to make it illegal to publish a book but you can publish a newspaper; your free speech is intact. It isn't and you know it isn't.

For a more hoisted on your own petard take on things, rural Virginia counties and towns are enacting 2nd Amendment sanctuary statutes. Should be an interesting legal fight, I am really unsure how it will turn out.

I find it funny that they are trying to ban a specific type of gun and have failed to show that doing so would be to the benefit of society. Will it save lives, will there be less murders once the ban is in effect? They know the answer is NO but yet they will ban it anyways. So whats the purpose of the ban then?
Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical, liberal, fanatical, criminal.

    Re: Who Supports the NRA?

Antigun leftists demonstrate their cowardice when they see the gun violence occurring in the country, the vast majority of them occurring in democrat controlled cities across the country, see the dire living conditions, poverty, and hopelessness in those communities and the violence that invariably accompanies it, and rather than address the actual problems in those communities instead only focus on types of guns that have virtually nothing to do with the problem, law abiding citizens that are absolutely not part of the problem, and an organization dedicated to keeping braindead leftist rat politicians from attacking the Constitutional rights of American citizens...an organization that has absolutely nothing to do with the violent crime problem in the country.

Fact is...the only reason leftists hate the NRA so much is because the NRA stands firmly against the leftists and their anti gun crusades. Its also a fact that in demonstrating their hatred of the NRA, those same antigun leftists very clearly demonstrate they dont give the first **** about the victims of those violent crimes and the actual problems that lead to high gun crimes, high property crimes, and high rates of sexual assault in those communities.
